Heat Official: Dedmund suffered a grade 1 + sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee and will miss 1-2 weeks

Live Bar Dec. 25 Heat officials announced today that Dedmond, who left the field injured in yesterday's game, underwent an MRI test today. The results showed that he suffered a slightly more severe sprain of the medial collateral ligament of his left knee than Grade 1 and was expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

So far this season, Dedmund has played in 33 games for the Heat, averaging 17.2 minutes per game, 6.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists, shooting 57.5% from the field.
