In the War of Resistance Against Japan, there were many ordinary people who gave their lives for the motherland to fight against the Japanese. Today we want to talk about a protagonist who is such a heroic anti-Japanese martyr who fought for the country, not only did he throw himself into the anti-Japanese war, but his wife and son both participated in the war, and they all sacrificed their lives for the country and paid for their precious lives.

This person is Dai Hongchang, whose ancestral home is Laizhou, Shandong, and the ancestors came to settle in the area along the Shahe River in Dunhua County, Jilin Province, because of the refugees. The Dai family is a large family, with a population of more than 50 people, and they have opened up more than 100 acres of land here. Before the "918" incident, the conditions of their family were very rich, and they could be regarded as rich and large landlords, but because of the sudden arrival of people, it changed his ordinary life.
His name is Wang Delin. He was also from Shandong, and he also came here because of his escape, but after he came here, he began to occupy the mountains as a king and became a bandit, although he was a bandit, he never oppressed civilians. He, in turn, tried to help the people. People affectionately called him "Righteous Thief Red Beard Old Wang Lin". Because Dai Hongchang and he are from Shandong, the two became brothers who worshiped the shogun.
In 1932, Wang Delin led the anti-Japanese uprising and formed the Chinese National Salvation Army. Dai Hongchang took guns and ammunition, money and cloth, carriages and horses, food and family, and mobilized 200 young and middle-aged villagers in the village, most of whom were hunters, to join Wang Delin's rebel army. Wang Delin changed his ranks to the Independent Battalion of the National Salvation Army, and Dai served as the commander of the Independent Battalion. By this time, he was in his 50s.
Since then, Dai Hongchang has led his family to fight many battles with the Japanese invaders. Several famous battles include the Battle of Jingpo Lake Chain Ring and the re-attack on Dunhua City. In 1937, five of his six sons were sacrificed. Dai Hongchang disguised himself and infiltrated Dunhua City to collect anti-Japanese intelligence, but was unfortunately arrested and then killed. In 1938, his surviving sixth son, 23-year-old Comrade Deik-jeong (then commander of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Army), died heroically in a battle with Japan.
Unexpectedly, his wife was also a hero of the anti-Japanese resistance. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, she not only led the women of the Dai family to fight against the Japanese Kou, but also did logistical and medical work for the National Salvation Army, and the whole family threw themselves into the wave of resisting Japan and saving the country, going forward and following, and also sacrificed their lives for the country, regardless of any price, it was really full of loyalty!
Later, he and his sons were named martyrs.
Such a family is truly admirable, as parents they are undoubtedly successful, as revolutionary fighters they are also brilliant.
