Recently, the National Energy Administration revised and issued the "Regulations on the Management of Power Grid-Connected Operation" and "Measures for the Management of Power Auxiliary Services", and the responsible comrade of the Department of Market Supervision of the National Energy Administration said that in order to adapt to the characteristics of the diversified main body of the new power system and the benign interaction of the source network and load storage, the new technical guidance and management requirements for new energy, new energy storage, load-side grid-connected entities and other grid-connected entities have been added.

In accordance with the relevant requirements of the State Council's "Carbon Peak Action Plan before 2030", the scope of the main body providing auxiliary services will be expanded from power plants to include new energy storage, captive power plants, traditional high-capacity industrial loads, industrial and commercial interruptible loads, electric vehicle charging networks, aggregators, virtual power plants and other entities, to promote the exploration of flexible adjustment capabilities on both sides of supply and demand, and accelerate the construction of new power systems.
