South Korean President Moon Jae-in will invite the heads of Samsung, LG, SK and other companies to lunch, and Lee Jae-yong is on the list

Yonhap News Agency reported on December 24 that South Korea's Blue House said on the 24th that South Korean President Moon Jae-in will invite the heads of major enterprise groups to lunch on the 27th. Lee Jae-yong, vice president of Samsung Electronics, was also invited. This will be Lee's first meeting with Moon since his release from prison on parole in August.

According to the report, in addition to Lee Jae-yong, the heads of KT, LG, SK, POSCO, and Hyundai Motor Group who participated in the "Youth Hope ON" project of civil-government cooperation were also invited. SK Group President Choi Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group President Jeong Ngee-hyun, LG Group President Ku Kwang-mo and others are discussing the attendance with the Blue House.

Moon's last meeting with financial leaders was six months ago in June this year, when Choi Tae-won, Cheng Yi-soon, and Ku Kwang-mok were all present. It is expected that Moon Jae-in will thank major enterprises at the luncheon on the 27th for actively cooperating with the government to create youth jobs.
