Wu Xin, vice chairman of tianjin writers association and president of Tianjin Literature College, Zhang Jing, editor-in-chief of Youth Literature and member of the Youth Working Committee of China Writers Association, Shen Xiayan, professor of the department of Chinese of Jinan University and chairman of Guangzhou Literary and Art Critics Association, attended the meeting.
"Resonance and Echo" and "Finding Words for Thought" are two collections of literary and art criticism published by Li Denan in 2021. The webinar was presided over by Luo Li, Vice President of Guangzhou Academy of Literature and Art Creation, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Guangzhou Literary and Art Critics Association.
In her speech, she pointed out that how to balance breadth and profundity in the professional field is a question worth pondering, and Li Denan explores the path from his own perspective, not only a scholar with profound thoughts, but also a critic who actively intervenes in the scene of literature and art.
In his speech, Wu Xin pointed out that Li Denan's philosophical traces and the ideas extended from it are always throughout the commentary, and a clear line can be seen. The brilliance of philosophical thought has always allowed him to always maintain the position of introspection, thinking, doubting and criticism, and always have the spirit of independent thinking.
In Shen Xiayan's view, Li Denan's body has three significant characteristics: gentleness, modesty and composure. He argues that if a critic wishes to be inspired by the object of his or her discussion, a gentle and gentle criticism with people will be more effective than a fierce, relentless criticism. This makes his comments often warm. ”
Zhang Jing believes that Li Denan has a kind of inner firmness. He respects the original law of the existence of all things, respects the subjectivity of the individual, and pays attention to the totality. At the same time as rational analysis, he also has humanistic infiltration, which makes him more warm.
Li Weichao, executive editor of the "Modern Chinese Literature Research Series", said that in recent years, Li Denan has been steadily moving forward, from focusing on the criticism of "post-80s" writers and Lingnan literature to the active "live" criticism and column host of literary journals. Running through it was hesitating Heidegger and the philosophical spirit of phenomenology, which gave new possibilities for literary criticism.
Jiang Fei, professor of the School of Humanities of Anqing Normal University and vice chairman of the Anhui Literary and Art Critics Association, believes that Li Denan's two books are the fruits of his understanding and creation, collation and construction over the years, the testimony of the construction of a conscious discourse and literary ideals, and the southern voice of criticism he issued in Guangzhou.
Lian Xingcun, president of the Guangzhou Academy of Literature and Art Creation, made a concluding speech. He believes that the objects of Li Denan's comments are wide-ranging, but he can always be familiar with them, and he is also very concerned about the hot spots of the times, very grounded, and pays attention to the dialectical unity of individual experience and group consciousness.
Li Denan said that this seminar allowed him to hear a lot of words from his confidants, have many resonances, and also feel everyone's encouragement and expectations for him. Subsequently, he made in-depth exchanges with the participating experts and scholars on the relationship between "self", "others" and "major things" to be handled in literary creation and criticism.
