The Battle for Unification

1. Wang Lang

The History Between Wang Mang and Liu Xiu as Emperor (5): History has both protagonists and supporting characters

Wang Lang, also known as Wang Chang, is a native of Handan. A fortune teller, this fortune teller is still quite good, and he can see that Hebei has a heavenly temperament. According to the general laws of history, if you can see that there is a heavenly spirit, you will find a wise lord to turn to in order to seek wealth. But the fortune teller himself was on the battlefield.

After Wang Mang usurped the throne, some people in Chang'an City claimed to be Liu Ziyou, the son of Emperor Liu Of Hancheng (emperor Of Hancheng without children), and were killed by Wang Mang. This Wang Lang took advantage of this incident, claiming to be a true son of public opinion in Hebei, and also made up a nose and an eye: his mother was a singer of the Hancheng Emperor, pregnant, in order to escape the persecution of Zhao Feiyan, pretending to be someone else's child, which escaped the disaster. Wang Lang changed his name to Liu Ziyu. Relying on this name, he began to deceive.

Using this name, many people were really deceived, and the north of the Zhao Kingdom and the west of liaodong all belonged to this Wang Lang. However, the false is always false, and when you meet the real body, it will not work.

Wang Lang sent someone to summon Liu Xiu, what kind of person Liu Xiu was, how could he be deceived, and after fighting with Liu Xiu for a few rounds, he was defeated. Wang Lang finally destroyed the city and was killed by the Han army.

2, Liu Yong (this person is too famous, did not find the right picture)

This is the true descendant of liu, the eighth grandson of King Xiao of Liang (the son of Emperor Wen of Han). After becoming emperor, he first went to Luoyang, followed gengshi, and was crowned king of Liang. Liu Yong is a man of understanding, seeing that there is no future in the beginning, and he supports the army and stands on his own. Capturing the twenty-eight cities of Jiyin, Shanyang, Pei, Chu, Huaiyang, and Runan, he was also considered a hegemon, and after the defeat of the army, he called himself The Son of Heaven.

In the second year of Jianwu (26 AD), Liu Xiu sent troops to conquer Liu Yong, and soon Liu Yong was defeated and killed by his generals.

3. Pang Meng

The Shanyang people, who first participated in the Green Forest Uprising, were introduced in the Xiajiang Soldiers (introduced in the first emperor). Originally titled emperor, Pang Meng was made the pastor of Jizhou, and later defected to Liu Xiu after the defeat of the army and became a servant. Pang Meng is humble, honest, and very popular with Liu Xiu. Liu Xiu believed that he could be a vassal of the orphans. It can be seen that Liu Xiu's trust in Pang Meng. This time, Liu Xiu looked at the wrong person. Pang Meng and Gai Yan went out on the expedition together, and when Liu Xiu issued the edict, he may not have thought it through, only gave Gai Yan and forgot Pang Meng. Pang Meng felt that Gai Yan had said something bad about himself, and was suspected by Liu Xiu. For just such a reason, Pang Meng rebelled. Originally, Pang Meng's mission this time was to attack Dong Xian, but Pang Meng instead united with Dong Xian.

Pang Meng's rebellion only brought Liu Xiu a little trouble, and was quickly put down. Pang Meng and Dong Xian were eliminated together.

4. Zhang Bu

Zhang Bu, Ziwen Gong, Langya people. This Zhang Bu did not claim the title of emperor. Just a character who swings left and right. Originally, I wanted to learn Kui Huan and become a mountain king, but I didn't have Kui Huan's ability. Swinging left and right between Liu Yong, Gengshi, and Liu Xiu, whoever gives the official the big one will follow whomever he wants. In the end, he was destroyed by Liu Xiu, and Zhang Bu was beheaded by Chen Jun, the Taishou of Langya.

5. Li Xian

Li Xian, a native of Xuchang. It was originally a subordinate order of Wang Manglujiang. After Wang Mang's defeat, he established himself as king and later proclaimed himself the Son of Heaven.

Besieging this guy, liu xiu was not used to appear on his own, and ma chengcheng was sent to get it done. Li Xian was killed.

6. Fang Wangli Liu Baby

This belongs purely to: the whole world has rebelled, why don't I rebel against that group of people. He also found his widow Liu Bao (about Liu Baby is introduced in the Introduction to the Western Han Emperor (II)). This gang was directly eliminated by the people sent by the First Emperor. None of them used Liu Xiu's people to shoot. The weakness of the power can be seen.

7. Peng Pet

The History Between Wang Mang and Liu Xiu as Emperor (5): History has both protagonists and supporting characters

Peng Pet, word BoTong. The Nanyang people, originally the second generation of officials, but the old father was killed by Wang Mang. To avenge his father, it is reasonable to rebel against Wang Mang. However, this one is similar to pang Meng above. First he followed Gengshi, and then he followed Liu Xiu. Later, he felt that others said bad things about themselves in front of Liu Xiu, and began to worry about suspicion, coupled with the ridicule of a loser's wife, he rebelled.

Although the process was a little tortuous, it still didn't take much effort, and Liu Xiu destroyed Peng Pet. Peng Pet was killed by servants, and Peng Pet's son was killed by the generals.

8. Lu Fang

Lu Fang, zijun period, and the stability of the Sanshui people. This person has mentioned many times before that he has insisted on it for a long time, not that Lu Fang is the most powerful, but he occupies a good position. Liu Xiu would not be able to reach it for a moment and a half. Look at how this Lu Fang rebelled

I don't know if Lu Fang learned from Wang Lang, who also pretended to be a relative of the Liu clan. Even more bullish than Wang Lang, he actually said that he was the great-grandson of Emperor Wu of Han (a generation with Emperor Xuan of Han), Liu Wenbo, the great-grandmother was also the sister of the evil king of the Xiongnu Gu Lihun, the empress of Emperor Wu of Han, this empress gave birth to three sons, the eldest son was the crown prince, the crown prince was killed (with Wei Zifu's son Liu Zhaolei), the second son was the second secretary (later established by General Huo as emperor, and I don't know who this general Huo said was, it should not be Huo to get sick, Huo went to illness earlier than Emperor Wu of Han died, Lu Fang would not be so ignorant, it should be Huo Guang), The youngest son is Hui Qing. The youngest son had been on the run, and the younger son had a son, Sun Qing, who gave birth to Lu Fang (who called himself Liu Wenbo). This Lu Fang is too capable of editing, people Wang Lang at least made up in line with the era, the background is still right, this Lu Fang is completely blind ah. But the common people actually believed.

When Chang'an was occupied, Lu Fang first followed Gengshi, and even more defeated, Lu Fang relied on the fabricated lies above, continued to deceive, and established himself as a general, the king of Xiping. That would be fortunately without the Internet, otherwise this deception would have been exposed long ago.

Lu Fang not only had a good position, but also hooked up with the Xiongnu and made peace with the Xiongnu. The Xiongnu were very generous, and Li Lufang was made the Emperor of Han. I don't know the self-confidence of the Xiongnu, and regard Han as a vassal state, maybe just to tease Lu Fang.

Lu Fang was too self-righteous, the Xiongnu at this time were not so bullish as when Emperor Wu of Han was, the Xiongnu were difficult to protect themselves, and they could still protect Lu Fang.

In the 12th year of Jianwu (36 AD), Lu Fang actually took the initiative to attack Yunzhong (a county of Liu Xiu), was defeated by Taishou, Lu Fang's men were ready to escort Lu Fang to surrender, Lu Fang was frightened, and fled to the Xiongnu with more than a dozen people, looking for him to do his father.

Perhaps unpopular with the Xiongnu, or unsatisfactory to the water and soil, in the 16th year of Jianwu (40 AD), Lu Fang returned and surrendered. Liu Xiu was not bad to him, and was crowned the Acting King (Liu Xiu still gave Lu Fang face, although he was a fake descendant of the Liu clan, he was actually crowned king).

When Lu Fang returns, she must always see the Son of Heaven. In order to show his sincerity, he decided to go to Liu Xiu in the first month of the following year to ask for peace. Lu Fang is still quite sincere, in order to please the first month of the second year, this year's winter month, Lu Fang will be on the road. I went to Changping (not Today's Beijing Changping) and received an edict, asking Lu Fang not to use it this year and come back next year. The specific content of the edict is not recorded in the history books. However, Lu Fang was very scared when she heard this, and as a result, Lu Fang rebelled again. When Lu Fang was in difficulty, the Xiongnu were still quite righteous, and once again reached out to help, taking Lu Fang's family to the Xiongnu. After that, Lu Fang never returned to Han, and more than ten years later, he died of illness and death to the Xiongnu.

This period of history is finally over, originally planned to write only two articles to finish, but the result is a long time, five articles were written
