Beijing News (reporter Guo Tie) On September 29, the Shanghai market supervision WeChat public account announced 2 batches of unqualified food, 1 batch of traditional crisps produced by Shanghai Xilaiyuan Food Co., Ltd., and 1 batch of goji berry cloud cakes produced by Shanghai Aolijia Food Co., Ltd., all of which involved mold exceeding the standard.

The sampling results showed that the "Nongzhishang" traditional crisp (cooked flour, cold processing, 2021-06-24), produced by Shanghai Xilaiyuan Food Co., Ltd. and sold by Shanghai Nongzhishang Food Sales Co., Ltd., had a mold detection value of 200 CFU/g; the mold detection value of "Lao Xiang Ding" brand goji berry cloud cake (measurement and weighing, 2021-07-02) produced by Shanghai Aolijia Food Co., Ltd. and sold by Shanghai Yuhai Food Co., Ltd. was 300 CFU/g. The mold detection values of the two batches of pastry samples involved exceeded the standard limit of ≤ 150 CFU/g.

According to the data, the reason for the mold exceeding the standard may be that the raw materials or packaging materials are contaminated by mold, the sanitary conditions of the products in the production and processing process are not controlled in place, the cleaning and disinfection of equipment and facilities such as production tools is not in place, or the storage and transportation conditions of the products are improper. Mold contamination can spoil food, destroy the color, aroma and taste of food, lose the edible value of food, and produce mycotoxins to endanger human health.
