The history of King of Glory e-sports begins on September 17, 2016, the first King of Glory KPL Professional League. Initially, 12 teams participated, they were: eStar, AG Super Play, VgHow, MU, DL, Senkaku, XQ, WF, LK, BWS, sViper and SC.
Since then, to now, the KPL has held the eleventh session, but the "elderly" teams that are still active on the KPL stage are strictly only eStar (Wuhan eStarPro) and AG Super Play Club (Chengdu AG Super Play). XQ has changed its name to TTG, which should not be counted.
For the KPL in the ancient period, the memory of the king of 囧 only stays in eStar as the biggest favorite to win the first championship, and the result is overturned under the hands of AS Xiange; AG Super Play will be stolen by AS Xiange Big Joe; and the famous scene of stealing the family without tears and no soldier line. Later, the second team entered the KPL spring game with the second place in the qualifiers, and was subsequently acquired by the QG Club, and also bought the first team of Sting and the cat god Cat of eStar at the time, and changed its name to QGhappy (now Wolves); Mu Third Team TKG, because of its poor record, was acquired by the top LPL giant of the League of Legends next door, RNG, renamed RNG .M.
After MU disbanded (sold out), team manager Jiu Zhe subsequently founded the Hero Jiujing Club. The latter things everyone knows, Jiuzhe became the well-deserved first coach of the KPL; FLY, Hurt, MC, Alan, Storm Rui and others have become the top players on their own; QGhappy has become the team with the most champions in the league; Hero Jiujing has sent a number of top players to the KPL, known as the King of Glory KPL "Whampoa Military Academy".
