In order to meet the needs of the majority of media journalists and learn from the media service practices of the previous Olympic Games, the 2022 Beijing News Center will be set up during the Beijing Winter Olympics, mainly serving the non-registered but official journalists of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The registration of relevant journalists will be fully launched tomorrow (December 25) at 10:00 a.m., when the official website of the 2022 Beijing News Center will be opened simultaneously.
The 2022 Beijing News Center will be located at the Beijing International Hotel Convention Center, which will be available from February 1 to 20, 2022, and will provide non-registered journalists with news and information services and media services that comply with international practices in accordance with the regulations of the olympic host cities.
Considering that the current international epidemic situation is still grim, in order to ensure the smooth convening of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the safety of the city, the reception principles of the 2022 Beijing News Center are: non-essential do not invite foreign journalists to Beijing temporarily, mainly foreign journalists stationed in Beijing; non-essential do not invite Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan temporary reporters to Beijing, mainly resident journalists and mainland journalists; domestic media are mainly central media and local mainstream media.
