The old man in charge of the doorkeeper at the age of ninety told me that Liu Gong's original name was Bingbiao, also known as Xiang, the character Zhongwen, his family was originally the richest man in Xiangyang, his father Liu Zijing was a former Qing Wuju, known as "Liu Million", and the fourth uncle Liu Zilin was the head of the Qing Dynasty's Du Branch Langzhong, that is, the head of the Ministry of Finance who was in charge of the national salt monopoly.

Until later, when Grand President Li Yuanhong posthumously awarded Liu Gong the title of general of the army, and Li Shuqing, who was only 28 years old, had been living in the temple to worship the Buddha, completely retired from the political arena of the Republic of China, and never married again, and the lonely east fence was wet and dewy, and the former golden house was illuminated by mud and sand.
In the corner of the Liu Gong Memorial Hall, there is a stone stele marked "Li Shuqing's Tomb", the old man who guarded the door told us that this tomb is fake, called Yiguan Tomb, Liu Gong's wife Li Shuqing is actually not buried here, but buried in Xiangyang Dongjin Dawangzhou near the river embankment of an old locust tree, it was the descendants who moved her here, and then, the old man introduced us to liu Gong's wife Li Shuqing's bumpy life path.
Li Shuqing, formerly known as Shuzhen, ziwenhua, alias ZhengQingzi. Guangxu was born in 1892 in Longjiawan, Xiaguan Street, Hubei Province (in present-day Xiantao City, Hubei Province). Her ancestral home is Guangdong, her father worked as a petty official in Hubei, died in the Tianping Rebellion, Li Shuqing was a widow, after her father's death, she followed her mother to do needlework to survive.
Although Li Shuqing said that she lived in poverty and could not keep up with nutrition, she was born with a beautiful fetus, and when the cardamom was young, she was like a flower, and often provoked wild bees and butterflies. She had attended private school for two years, was literate and hyphenated, could sing and dance, was intelligent and beautiful and good at sociability, these intoxicated students often came to her home to drink tea and chat, and her mother relied on the tea fees left by her classmates to make a living, so her reputation was so great that she was raised by the director of the Education Bureau. The director of persuasion who often stayed in her home seriously hindered the youthful romance of the students who liked to drink tea and chat, so these envious and jealous students gave her the nickname of "Qiuyang Supervisor".
When Li Shuqing was 18 years old, she was fooled by a matchmaker and married Toing, who sold beef, and the people in the village were very sorry, and a good flower was inserted on the cow dung. However, this "cow dung" could not bear it, and soon after she fell ill and died, the Ding family accused her of murdering her husband and running for her life overnight. Li Shuqing had no way to find death, and suddenly figured it out. I'm stupid me! I didn't kill anyone, so why should I flee, why should I die? So he returned to the state city to surrender and state his grievances. The plaintiff could not produce evidence, and the state official did not use the sentence and was temporarily imprisoned. Later, there was an out-of-court settlement, and the Ding family demanded a thousand taels of silver. That's an astronomical number! Orphans and widows, where is there so much money? The education circles in Qiuyang could not bear to see it, and intervened to mediate and lowered the target to four hundred silver dollars. Four hundred pieces is also difficult, all the family property is sold, only worth two hundred and seventy pieces, there is still a difference of one hundred and thirteen. On the day of the verdict, the scribe shouted loudly: "If a woman is given a ration, she must give the official a price of one hundred and thirty yuan, and who is willing to receive it?" As soon as the words fell out, one of them rushed to pay the money, and when the court was over, he led the person away.

After drinking it, I cried out for my life. Li Shuqing was a person who came over, knew something different, pretended to be no one, flew out of the door, met with her mother, and took a boat to Hankou.
The old man at the door introduced her deeds
Li Shuqing fled to Hankou and met yang Yuru, a revolutionary, who introduced her to Liu Gong and changed her life. After the success of the Wuchang Uprising, the military government set up Li Shuqing as the supervisor of the General Supervision Office, becoming the first female cadre of the military government. The days with Liu Gong were the happiest time of her life. Nine years later, Liu Gong fell ill and died, and Li Shuqing lived in Xiangyang's Liu family, where she remained widowed for thirty years, starting at the age of twenty-seven. He had no children and had long been fed by his nephews.

What was Li Shuqing's state of mind at that time? I can't know, but I do know that a woman who gives her youth to the Dark Ages will either fade or shine.
Villagers point to her burial place
On the night of her 58-year-old Chinese New Year's Eve, the snow was thick, the heavens and the earth were yellow, and Li Shuqing died forever in her sleep. Because the family was afraid of the new government, they only used a few wooden door panels to assemble a coffin, and used a board cart to pull her to an old locust tree near the river embankment in Dongjin Dawangzhou, Xiangyang (now Shangzhou Village, Dongjin Town, Xiangyang District) to be buried, the whole process was very simple, there was no grave, no tombstone, only a pile of yellow soil, standing where she was buried, looking out at the distance, full of smooth fields, ditches and houses, and her bumpy life was indeed lamentable.
