[Two thousand years ago, Guangzhou people ate roast suckling pigs] "Haiyu Youtong - Guangzhou Qin and Han Archaeological Achievements Exhibition", recently opened at the National Museum of China, exhibiting more than 330 precious cultural relics (groups) excavated from the tomb of the Nanyue King, the Nanyue King Palace and other Qin and Han archaeological sites in Guangzhou. In the archaeological excavation of the tomb of the King of Nanyue, a total of 3 pieces of ovens were found. When unearthed, the stove is equipped with a variety of accessories for grilling, including iron chains for hanging stoves, long forks, iron brazing and iron hooks for grilling meat. There are also 4 suckling pigs on the wall of a roaster, and the pig's mouth is facing upwards, indicating that the main purpose of the oven should be for grilling suckling pigs.
