At the 2021 Expo, GM brought its HUMMER EV to the exhibition, and the powerful performance left a deep impression. Recently, according to US media reports, HUMMER EV First Edition edition has officially rolled off the production line and opened user delivery.
The HUMMER EV is GM's first pure electric pickup truck model delivered on the Ultium electric platform, retailing for $110295, starting at about 700,000 yuan. In terms of appearance, HUMMER EV still presents a domineering style, the front face adopts a closed design, and the "Hummer" brand logo and the LED headlight groups on both sides are embedded in it, and the front grille can also be lit as a whole, increasing the recognition of the vehicle.
A large number of straight lines are used on the side of the body, outlining the tough body wheel gallery, and the ultra-high suspension travel and black under-the-line surround indicate that this car has excellent off-road capabilities. The tail is designed with an open cargo hopper and square taillights on both sides, which highlights its "tough guy" style.
In terms of interior, the HUMMER EV SUV model continues the overall design of the previously released pickup version of the model, adding a lot of technology in the rough madness, equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and a 13.4-inch multimedia display, full of technology. In addition, the new car is equipped with an enhanced version of the Super Cruise super intelligent driver assistance system as standard, and the new automatic lane change function can automatically determine the best time to change lanes and start the vehicle operation under the guidance of traffic lights.
At the same time, HUMMER EV also comes standard with the infinity roof Infinity Roof, removable sunroof cover, I-Bar and rear-end electric lifting glass. And in order to ensure strong off-road performance, the new car is equipped with adaptive air suspension Tract Mode technology and CrabWalk (Crab Mode) four-wheel steering technology.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with GM Ultium electric drive system, equipped with a three-motor e4WD drive system (including torque vectoring control), the maximum power of the three-motor model can reach 735kW (1000 horsepower), the peak torque is 15592Nm, and the acceleration of 0-96km/h is 3 seconds. In terms of battery life, the first First Edition version, the EPA range can exceed 350 miles (about 563km).
At present, the first batch of HUMMER EV First Edition editions has been sold out and booked. In the future, the HUMMER EV 3X will be available in the fall of 2022. The car costs $99,995, has an estimated range of 300 miles (about 483km) and a power of 610kW (830 hp).
