A few days ago, the whistleblower Greymon55 posted the parameters of the suspected RDNA3 graphics card, including the three cores of Navi 31/32/33.
The Navi 31 is expected to be used for RX 7900XT graphics, 60WGP, 256MB 3D unlimited cache, 16GB 256bit GDDR6 video memory, and a core frequency of 2.5GHz, which is 200~250MHz higher than the 6900 XT.
Among them, WGP is the abbreviation of The Work Group Processors, which is the basic graphics unit of the Navi core, and if the 60WGP finally corresponds to the 15360 stream processor, it means that each group integrates 256 stream processors, which is double compared to RDNA2.
While the Navi 32/33 is lackluster in terms of memory, what's surprising is the ultra-high core frequency, the Navi 32 (RX 7800 XT?). It can actually go to 2.8GHz, Navi 33 (RX 7700 XT?). It also shot straight to 3.0GHz, making it the fastest GPU ever operated.
With a 2x increase in stream processor and crazy clocking, it is really difficult to deny the possibility that RDNA3 will be 150% better than RDNA2 performance.
