In 1915, Yan Renmei was born in a prominent family of giants.

Her great-grandfather, Yan Xinhou, was a former aide to Li Hongzhang and co-founded China Commerce and Commerce Bank, China's first bank, in Shanghai, and is known as the founding father of the Ningbo Gang.

Her father, Yan Zhiduo, was the eldest grandson of the Yan family.

Her mother was Liu Chengyi, the granddaughter of Liu Yong, the head of the Four Elephants of Nanxun in Huzhou, and Yan Renmei's grandfather Liu Tiqing, was not only a collector of cultural relics, but also a well-known real estate merchant in Shanghai Beach, when Liu founded the Chongyu Silk Factory in Hangzhou and became a first-class large-scale silk reeling factory in the country.

It can be said that Yan Renmei was born in such a prominent family, and it is simply a child born with a golden key.

As the first child of the fourth generation, Yan Renmei was loved by the family and had a rather superior life.

At the age of 10, he enrolled in the Chinese and Western Girls' Middle School where his aunt served, and it is said that this Chinese and Western Girls' Middle School can be called a famous girls' middle school in the history of the Republic of China, and former Honorary President of the State Song Qingling and his siblings Song Xialing and Song Meiling have all attended the school. The famous novelist Zhang Ailing also studied in this school, of course, the people who could attend this school were Miss Qianjin, who was a famous and prestigious family at that time.

In Yan Renmei's circle of classmates, there is the so-called "group of eight"

In addition to Yan Renmei, the other seven were all ladies of the rich and prestigious families, including Zhang Hanfen, daughter of Zhang Shouyong, vice minister of finance of the Republic of China, Huang Huibao, daughter of Huang Chujiu, Tang Minzhen, daughter of the Chinese ambassador to France, Lin Ying, a young lady of the Fujian rich merchant Lin family, and Shen Youfen, granddaughter of the Xi family in Suzhou Dongting, and so on.

Of course, in addition to these people, Song Meiling's niece Kong Lingyi and Zhang Xueliang's wife Miss Zhao Si are Yan Renmei's girlfriends, of course, the most unknown to outsiders, Yan Renmei is also the daughter of Sheng Xuanhuai's daughter Sheng Guanyi.

In the old days, large families had inextricable relationships with each other, and their descendants were also closely related, which also laid the groundwork for Yan Renmei's life and marriage in the future.

This also laid the foundation for Yan Renmei's unique temperament among the famous ladies of the Republic of China.

As a large family with strict tutoring, family prestige is the most important, but unfortunately, the girl of the Yan family has a runaway marriage, which has a very bad impact on the Yan family.

In order to prevent such a thing from happening again, Yan Renmei's father tried to prevent his daughter from going to school again, believing that the girls in the family ran away from marriage because they were in school.

Therefore, his father was actively looking for her in-laws, hoping that she would marry soon, so as to cut off the idea of studying.

In 1929, Yan Renmei's sixth sister got married, and the Ma family of a large family in Suzhou also went, and this Ma family, who opened a money house in Suzhou, can be said to be a well-off family, with many industries in the family.

It is also a coincidence that on this wedding banquet, the Ma family was obsessed with this Yan Renmei, and when they saw it, they fell in love with this beautiful and moving little girl, and they repeatedly went to the door to ask for relatives, which could spoil Yan Zhiduole and agree to this family affair at once.

Since then, Yan Renmei has been locked up at home and yan Renmei has not been allowed to go to school.

But as a new-style woman, Yan Renmei will definitely not agree.

She actually protested with hunger strikes, which made her already weak body even more vulnerable, so it led to pneumonia, and when Yan Renmei's grandfather heard that his granddaughter was in such a situation, he immediately sent someone to send his granddaughter to Hangzhou to recuperate, and Yan Renmei's grandfather Liu Tiqing was running a silk reeling factory in Hangzhou.

Yan Renmei stayed in Hangzhou for more than a year, and her condition gradually stabilized and improved.

She also finally made a deal with her father that it was okay to marry, but she had to continue school. The Chinese and Western Girls' High School also made an exception to allow her to continue her education after marriage.

In this way, in 1934, when Yan Renmei was 20 years old, she married Ma Guanliang, a young master of Suzhou.

The ancients had a saying called "words do not speculate more than half a sentence", this sentence is really appropriate to put on Yan Renmei and Ma Guanliang, the two have no feelings after marriage, and there is no common topic. One is a young master of the landlord in the old style, and the other is a new woman from a large family of foreign affairs and industry, and the ideological concepts and living habits of the two are very different, which directly leads to the discord in the family life of the two sides. Since then, marital conflicts have continued, coupled with the fact that Ma Guanliang's private life is relatively chaotic, he often fools around outside.

This made a new woman with a stubborn personality who had a pursuit of life unacceptable, so she finally chose to divorce, at that time she had already given birth to three children for the Ma family. But because divorce is inevitable without feelings, her girlfriends and friends in her circle support her divorce and encourage her to start a new life.

But as the mother of the child, Yan Renmei is competent.

She has been working hard all her life for the custody of her children, before liberation, the Yan family and the Ma family fought many lawsuits because of the dispute over the children, and finally only obtained the right to visit, after the liberation, she sued the Ma family again, which made her three children return to her side.

Even more honorable, she was for her own children.

After the Kuomintang went to Chongqing, she did not listen to the arrangements of Kong Lingyi, Sheng Guanyi and others, and stayed in Shanghai alone, being a responsible and responsible mother.

In 1943, Yan Renmei married li Zumin, a descendant of the Li family in ningbo alley, and after marriage, the two lived a harmonious life and a happy family, and the two snuggled up to each other for a lifetime.

Yan Renmei also raised a son and a daughter for the Li family.

At the end of the 20th century, Mr. Li Zumin, who had been dependent on Yan Renmei for more than 50 years, died of illness.

A few years later, her youngest daughter also died of illness.

The children worried about her body, took her to Shenzhen to live with the second son's family, gave her warm and thoughtful care, and Yan Renmei also lived quietly and calmly until she died in more than 100 years.

For Yan Renmei, a true nobleman does not mean that he is born a nobleman, but that he maintains the style and dignity of an aristocrat until his death.
