Ruihe Cake started with Ruihe Sugar Mill. Because the ancestors only made candy, did not make pastries, and only sold in the countryside around Baiquan Gao.

Later generations have a little savings in Dinghai City to buy a house and settle down, in the 1930s from Ruihe Sugar Factory to "Ruihe Cake Shop", and developed a special variety of strip cake, Shujia's Lao Rui and strip cake became "fist" products.
