The great people who have experienced the baptism of World War II will always shine in the long river of history. Especially the heroes who changed the course of World War II with the power of mortals, the breadth of life will be infinitely extended.

According to foreign media reports, the legendary female agent of the former Soviet Union, Goar Valtanyan, died in Moscow on the 25th local time at the age of 93.

This old lady was a "fierce character" in those days, so "fierce" that even Stalin, Roosevelt, and Churchill had to give up three points when they saw it.

Why? Because the old lady saved their lives and assisted in the greatest sea landing operation in human history, the Normandy landing.

In addition, Goar, who specialized in intelligence work at that time, also worked with her husband Gövörg to pick out more than 400 Nazi spies, which made Hitler itch with hatred. Later, her experience was remade into the movie Tehran-43.

Agence France-Presse reported on November 26 that Goar will be buried this week at the Troyekovskaya Cemetery in Moscow.

The most successful recruitment

Gohar was born in the Soviet republic of Armenia in 1926, but her legendary life began in Iran.

Goar

In the 1930s, she moved with her family to Tehran, the capital of Iran. Shortly thereafter, at the age of 15, she met a young man two years older than herself, Gövlörg.

Despite the language barrier, the two exchanged ideas with great interest and quickly established a friendship through gestures. After a long time together, Goar learned that the young Gevorg was actually a spy!

His father, ostensibly a wealthy merchant who ran a confectionery factory, was inextricably linked to Soviet intelligence. It was under the influence of his father that Gevorg became an intelligence officer in the Soviet intelligence service before he was 16 years old.

A year before he met Goar, Gövlg met for the first time with the legendary Ivan Agayantz, the head of Soviet intelligence, and organized an intelligence group under his instructions.

The task of the intelligence group was twofold: to track the German intelligence agents in Tehran and to monitor where they had gone, who they had come into contact with, and where they had been; and to observe carefully and "pick out" the local population who had worked for fascism.

Originally, this intelligence group had no name, but because this group of young people mainly relied on bicycles to track their targets, they were called "light cavalry".

Goar was shocked by the identity of her little friend, but what she didn't expect was still to come.

In 1942, at the age of 18, Gövlgg joined a radio club in Tehran, which was actually an intelligence school run by the British. He spent half a year learning recruitment methods, password letter writing, unilateral contact methods, tracking, anti-tracking, and how to take covert operations.

When he finished learning this set, Goar was also 16 years old, and he simply learned to sell it now and used the recruitment skills to Goar! Eventually, Goar decided to join the "Light Cavalry".

Together, the two then identified more than 400 Nazi spies in just over a year. In later recollections, Gövörg proudly said, "It was the most successful recruitment operation of my life." ”

The savior of the Big Three

Goar didn't disappoint. Before the Tehran Conference in 1943, she and Geverg shook Europe with the "Hussar" intelligence group.

At that time, the situation in World War II was gradually becoming clear, and Hitler, who had defeated the Soviet Union, no longer had the strength to organize a multi-directional large-scale offensive like in 1941.

At this time, the Allies were discussing how to give Hitler a fatal blow.

In November 1943, the "Big Three" stalin, Churchill, and Roosevelt from the three Allies of the Soviet Union, Britain, and the United States planned to hold talks in Tehran to discuss the opening of a second battlefield in western Europe.

But before the conference began, Hitler, who had fallen into decline, was becoming more and more crazy. When he learned that the Big Three were gathering in Tehran, he realized that this was a good opportunity to "catch the allied leaders" in one fell swoop.

At Hitler's behest, the Germans launched an assassination operation called The Long Jump, with the goal of burying the Big Three in Tehran.

In charge of this mission was None other than Hitler's confidant Skolzeni. He excelled in special operations and became famous during World War II for organizing the rescue of Mussolini. In order to ensure that the operation was foolproof, he decided to send 6 people to form an "advance team" to investigate the intelligence of the meeting.

However, a Soviet spy disguised as a German officer accidentally learned of the "long jump plan" at a liquor store. After this information was sent back to the Soviet Union, the Soviet side sent a team of special agents to find and capture the 6 advance team members.

This team of agents was none other than the "Light Cavalry" intelligence group in which Goar and Govärg were located. Soon, Goar found the six advancers landing in the town of Qom around Tehran. However, she did not choose to fight the grass to scare the snake.

By tracking down and cracking the German radio communications, she and the "Hussar" intelligence team learned the entire plan of the Nazi assassination operation - the advance team was responsible for spying on the intelligence and cooperating with the secret Nazi contact point in Tehran to develop the assassination and retreat route; then, Korceni would personally lead the team to infiltrate the heavily guarded embassy along a canal leading to the British embassy on November 30, Churchill's birthday, to infiltrate the heavily guarded embassy to lay mines...

After finding out all the information, they launched an operation, capturing 6 advanceists in one fell swoop, and even took out the Nazi secret contact point in Tehran. Subsequently, Goar deliberately acquiesced to one of them sending news of the mission's failure to Berlin. Eventually, the Nazis cancelled the assassination plan of the second group of personnel, and the "long jump plan" failed.

This perfect intelligence war ensured the smooth progress of the Tehran Conference. Through this meeting, a combat operation called "Overlord" surfaced, which was later known as the "Normandy Landing".

The Normandy landings were the greatest landings in human history and one of the decisive battles in Europe during World War II. In a way, Goar used his intelligence work to truly change the course of human history.

Agent couple

Life is like a play. In one thrilling intelligence mission after another, Goar and Govörg fell in love and married in 1946.

Five years later, they were allowed to temporarily return to the Soviet Union to study at the Foreign Chinese Academy in preparation for a new job abroad. After that, the two were sent to Italy, France, Greece, Germany and other countries to continue espionage work. Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service said the two had carried out missions under "extreme conditions in many countries" but did not release specific details.

But what can be known is that in order not to reveal their identities, the couple was forbidden to speak Russian abroad; they could not raise children because of the needs of work; even the wedding was done three times for various reasons...

It was not until 1986 that Goar retired and returned to the Soviet Union with her husband. At this time, they have worked in nearly 100 countries under various pseudonyms for 43 years, obtaining political, military, economic and technological intelligence, and some of the information is extremely high, perhaps 200 years or 300 years later.

This effort made them one of the most successful secret agent couples in the world. It is precisely for this reason that it is difficult for them to understand the spies who "bounce" on the Internet every day.

In 2010, the United States and Russia completed the most sensational spy exchange agreement since the Cold War, in which the "most exposed" red-haired beauty spy Anna Chapman was once quite active on Facebook and a Russian social networking site.

Gevorg couldn't look past it and gave a rare interview: "They're selling themselves on the Internet, which is not professional at all. It is strange that people engaged in espionage activities should allow such a thing to happen. ”

Goar didn't say anything, and simply began to use his residual heat to vigorously cultivate young intelligence officers. In recognition of her significant contributions to the country, she was awarded the Order of the Red Banner and the Grand Patriotic War Medal of the Second Class.

In 2012, Gövörg died in Moscow. Before his death, he became the first intelligence officer to receive the title of "Hero of the Soviet Union". Speaking of the "Hero of the Soviet Union" medal, he confessed that "at least two of the five-pointed stars" of the medal belonged to his wife Goar.

In 1980, the story of Goar and Gervorg was artistically crafted into the classic film Tehran-43 starring French film star Alain Deron. The film won the gold medal at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1981, and its theme song is familiar to many Chinese, Chinese the title of the song is "Let Love Stay in the World".

In reality, they not only let love stay in the world for a long time, but also let the two lives show legends in intertwining with each other.
