Fujian Province held a phased communication meeting of the Expert Committee on the Clinical Application and Management of Antimicrobial Drugs

On the afternoon of December 10, the phased communication meeting of the Fujian Antimicrobial Clinical Application and Management Expert Committee was held in Fuzhou.

At the meeting, Professor Yang Fan of Huashan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University combined with the advanced work experience of Shanghai Municipality, on how to carry out the "three-network linkage" work of bacterial drug resistance monitoring network, antibacterial drug clinical application monitoring network, hospital infection prevention and control and monitoring network, Professor Lin Cuihong of the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, Professor Chen Jiansen of Union Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University, and Professor Wu Quanming of Fujian Provincial Hospital respectively carried out the antibacterial clinical application monitoring network Fujian branch, Fujian Provincial Hospital Infection Prevention and Control and Monitoring Network, Report on the relevant situation of the bacterial drug resistance monitoring network in Fujian Province. Participating experts had in-depth discussions on how to build a reasonable and effective management model under the "three-network linkage", establish a multidisciplinary cooperation model, strengthen the construction of infection control, infection, severe disease, blood, respiration, microbiology, pharmacy and other disciplines in medical institutions in the province, and improve the quality and integrity of data in the monitoring network.

The convening of this communication meeting is conducive to further excavating the value of the "three networks" monitoring data, realizing the simultaneous management of antibacterial drugs and hospital infection prevention and control, and is of great significance to improving the antimicrobial drug use capacity of medical institutions in our province, promoting clinical rational drug use, effectively ensuring the safety of patient medication, and curbing bacterial resistance.

More than 50 experts from the relevant responsible comrades of the Medical Administration Department of the Provincial Health Commission and the Fujian Provincial Antimicrobial Clinical Application and Management Expert Committee attended the meeting.
