On the evening of December 17, the signing ceremony of the Computer Museum project was held at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center, and the Dongyang Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China Computer Society, marking the official settlement of the Computer Museum in Hengdian.
It is understood that the Chinese Computer Society is an academic society in China's computer and related fields, and is the second largest computer society in the world. In order to implement the site selection of the Computer Museum, since May this year, the relevant person in charge of the China Computer Society has come to the East several times to investigate the possibility of the landing of the Computer Museum. On October 10, at the review meeting of the computer museum support construction plan held in Beijing, it was finally determined that the computer museum project would be settled in Hengdian.

The Computer Museum project plans to select the Hengdian National Defense Science and Technology Park, which covers a total area of more than 9,000 acres and can provide enough space for the planning of the new museum. In the future, the city and the China Computer Society will continue to strengthen cooperation and exchanges, and jointly recreate a science and technology city in Hengdian.
At the signing ceremony, Mei Hong, chairman of the China Computer Society, said that now is the era of computing and digital transformation, everyone must improve the survival and working ability of the digital society, accelerate the popularization of computer science, and the Chinese Computer Society has the unshirkable responsibility to contribute to promoting the improvement of the public's digital literacy.
