The UPCOMING RIZIN Thor 33 TOURNAMENT IN SAITATA, Japan, on December 31, will feature three new matches, including a high-profile women's duel, kickboxing queen Reina Kubota against South Korea's Park Shiyou.

Reina Kubota (12-3, 7 K, 2 S) is 30 years old and 160cm tall. She has a (35-5-1, 11 KO) kickboxing record and is the champion of Rise and SpotBoxing. He began his professional MMA career at the RIZIN Thor tournament in 2015 and has won four consecutive games since being defeated by Lindsey VanZandt in the first set in June 2019, including a successful revenge on TKO in the third set of the second match against Lindhi Vanzant in December 2019, a victory over Emi Tomimatsu in September 2020, and Miyuu Yamamoto in the second set in November this year Yamamoto)。

Park Seok-woo (5-4, 1 K, 0 S) is 30 years old and 157cm tall. He began his professional MMA career in 2017, and after the first two consecutive defeats, he played a wave of 5 consecutive wins, unfortunately suffered another 2 consecutive defeats recently, and was demoted by the first set in June this year, just lost to unbeaten rising star Seika Izawa in October.

The grand finale was the RIZIN Lightweight Championship Tournament, where current champion Roberto de Sousa (12-1, 4 K, 8 S) played a second game against challenger Yusuke Yachi (23-11, 6 K, 2 S). There were also four finalists of the RIZIN Grand Prix: former RIZIN champion Asaka Kai (18-3, 11 K, 3 S) against rookie Kenta Takizawa (13-7, 9 K, 0 S), former UFC player 24-year-old Naoki Inoue (17-2, 1 K, 10 S) vs. Shudou champion Hiroshima Osobo (23-5-2, 1 K, 6 S). There were also two former RIZIN featherweight champions in a double match, with Hiroshi Saito (20-5-2, 5 K, 2 S) against Mirai Asakura (15-3, 8 K, 1 S, 1 N). Current RIZIN women's super atomicweight champion Juka Hamazaki (23-3, 3 K, 10 S) played an untitled super battle against 24-year-old unbeaten rising star Hoshika Izawa (4-0, K, 1 S). Former K-1 WGP subweight (67.5kg) champion Yuta Kubo (49-10-1, 29 KO) played a special MMA rule match against 94 kg Mitsuru Saito (4-9-1, 2 K, 2 S).
