In early July 1927, several cannons rang out, and the Tomb of Cixi in the Dingdong Tomb in the Qing Dynasty was exploded, and officers of all sizes flocked in to collect all kinds of funerary items in the mausoleum. Immediately afterward, they pried open the coffin of Empress Dowager Cixi, looted the rare treasures inside the coffin, and dismantled the corpse of the empress dowager, which was a tragic scene. After looting cixi's tomb, these thieves were still not satisfied, and once again stolen the Qianlong Emperor's Yuling Tomb. And such a tomb robbery incident that shocked the Republic of China was exactly what the bandit warlord Sun Dianying did at that time.

Sun Dianying was a descendant of Sun Chengzong, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty's Military Department shangshu and Dongge University, and because he had smallpox when he was a child, he also got a nickname "Sun Cannabis Son". Sun Dianying, who had a flamboyant personality since childhood, had a ranger spirit, and when he grew up, he turned to Jiang Guiti, who was entrenched in Bozhou, Anhui, and a few years later, he independently recruited soldiers and horses. Later, he was taken in by the warlord Zhang Zongchang.
Due to the lack of military pay, Sun Dianying sent his idea to the Qing Tombs, which were only a mountain away from his garrison. After discovering that Tanglin was unguarded, he plundered Dingdongling and Yuling in the name of military exercises. In order to escape punishment, Sun Dianying also used one-third of the treasures he had plundered to take some high-ranking officials. It was not until May 1947 that Sun Dianying was captured by the People's Liberation Army and died a few months later in a prisoner-of-war camp.
Despite all the evil deeds done by this super thief, his descendants have made great contributions to the country. In 1931, Sun Dianying's second wife, Liu Qingzhen, gave birth to his son Sun Tianyi. For this "big news" that shocked China and foreign countries made by his father, Sun Tianyi only learned a few words from his mother and father's staff and friends.
Sun Tianyi has lived under the notoriety of his father's "great thief" since he was a child. Under the guidance of his mother, Sun Tianyi did not inherit the mantle of his father, but continued to improve himself, was admitted to the Department of Western Languages and Literatures of Fu Jen University in Beijing, after graduation, he worked in Xi'an Foreign Chinese College, and for more than 40 years of teaching, Sun Tianyi devoted himself to the cause of education, and also translated books such as "Roosevelt Biography", "Chamberlain Biography", "English Proverb Dictionary" and so on.
In addition, Sun Tianyi also formed an indissoluble relationship with the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum. In 1959, Sun Tianyi brought his friends to the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum, and his eyes were attracted by the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum in the boundless Loess Plateau. "The place is too small and too simple, and it is too disproportionate to the status and arrogance of our great country." In 1992, Sun Tianyi became the vice president of the Yellow Emperor Mausoleum Foundation. Subsequently, Sun Tianyi presided over the formulation of strict fund management measures for the foundation, and always took advantage of the opportunity of foreign institutions to invite him to go abroad to give lectures to collect donations. In 1992, the first phase of the renovation of the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum began and was completed in 2001. Sun Tianyi said: "I feel that I am engaged in a cause of immeasurable merit. Whenever he saw someone burning incense and adding a bunch of soil in front of the Yellow Emperor's mausoleum, he felt very relieved.
After Sun Tianyi retired, he chose to continue to stay in front of the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum and continue to preside over the renovation of the Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum. "Father is a sinner, I want to atone for my sins and protect cultural relics, and I have an unshirkable responsibility!"
