Since the special rectification, the market supervision department has inspected more than 20,000 business entities, as well as all electric bicycles and batteries sales, storage and maintenance business entities. At the same time, spot checks are carried out according to the clues and product quality supervision. Up to now, a total of 191 related illegal acts have been investigated and punished, 3572 unqualified and illegally assembled electric bicycles have been seized and sold, and more than 2.225 million yuan has been fined.

In response to the illegal sale of electric bicycles in the field of online sales, the release of electric bicycle modification information and other issues, the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Department conducted interviews and warnings to e-commerce platform enterprises such as Jingdong and Ali three times, requiring e-commerce platforms to strictly perform their main responsibilities and carry out business activities in accordance with laws and regulations. Relevant Internet business entities have carried out self-examination and rectification, blocked illegal channels through keyword blocking and other means, and accumulated more than 1,200 pieces of off the shelves.

Executions are linked, and illegal crimes are severely cracked down. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision and the public security department have established a joint law enforcement coordination mechanism, combined with administrative penalties and criminal crackdown methods, to severely crack down on illegal and criminal acts in the field of electric bicycles. Organize law enforcement personnel and technical experts to cooperate with the Municipal Public Security Bureau to investigate and deal with a number of cases of production and sale of fake and shoddy electric bicycles, and at the same time transfer the parties involved in the 6 cases of illegal modification and sale of electric bicycle storage dens that do not meet national standards investigated and handled in the early stage to the public security organs for criminal prosecution.

Department linkage, strict control of product catalogs. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision, together with the Municipal Traffic Management Bureau and the Bureau of Ecology and Environment, has strengthened the cleaning of the catalogue, dynamically adjusted and deleted the models found to be non-conforming to the standards and certificate cancellations in the daily supervision and inspection and the screening of national data, and announced them to the public. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 1194 models have been deleted, and the declaring entities who are found to have illegal acts are required to seriously rectify and strengthen the control of their product declarations. At present, the city's current directory includes 370 brands and 3801 models.

In the next step, the market supervision department will continue to carry out special governance actions for the illegal production and sale of electric bicycles, unite public security, traffic management and other departments, multi-departmental linkage, continue to strengthen special law enforcement of electric bicycles, continuously strengthen the quality supervision of electric bicycle products in the city, strengthen the supervision of network sales behavior, strictly investigate the production and sale of electric bicycles that do not meet the standards and commercial modified electric bicycles and other illegal acts, maintain a high-pressure deterrent situation against illegal acts, and maintain the market order in the capital.
