It is understood that platelet donation requires the use of a blood collection machine to draw part of the blood from the donor's body, and the entire donation process lasts for one and a half hours. "In the past, about 380 bags of machine platelets were collected a year, and so far this year, 430 bags have been collected, and the increase in the proportion is still quite considerable."
