At the press conference, the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment introduced the overall development of the city's comprehensive ecological environment and the next step of the work arrangement.
This year, the city strictly implemented the relevant requirements of the state and the autonomous region, issued the "Three-year Action Plan for the Comprehensive Management of the Ecological Environment in Wuhai City (2021-2023)", and 7 special work plans of "Governing Enterprises", "Controlling Water", "Managing Mines", "Governing Fields", "Governing Vehicles", "Governing Roads" and "Controlling Gas", and building a "1+7" ecological environment governance pattern.
As of the end of November, the water quality of the Haibo Bay section under the state-controlled assessment section of the Wuhai section of the Yellow River was Class II., and the proportion of the water quality of six centralized drinking water sources in six towns reaching Class III. was 100%. As of December 14, the ratio of days with excellent ambient air quality in the downtown area of our city was 78.7%, and after removing the sand and dust exceeding the standard, it was 89.3%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points over the same period last year. The city's environmental quality has been further improved.
In the next step, the city will continue to deeply implement the three-year action plan for the comprehensive management of the ecological environment, further increase the intensity of work, accelerate the progress of various projects, continue to improve the quality of the ecological environment, take 7 special work contents as the starting point, resolutely win the battle of comprehensive management of the ecological environment, and promote the city's "14th Five-Year Plan" ecological environmental protection to start a good start.
