In the vast majority of people, they only think that the foreign army is really rare, and those big tall ones really look like orangutans.
For their own lives, basically how they lived before and how they still lived, the people at the bottom of society, life will not have much impact, still poor. Therefore, it does not matter to themselves, why should they resist when they are already numb? I don't even think about it.

Although the number of these old photos is small, this one is inscribed with real historical moments, and this is also the most insensitive true portrayal of the Qing Dynasty people in Mr. Lu Xun's pen.
