Recently, the award ceremony of the 27th China Documentary Academic Ceremony was held in Shenzhen. The documentary filmed and produced by Jilin Radio and Television Station, "Tracing the Secret Camp - Exploring the Beginning and End of the Secret Camp Site of the Northeast Volunteer Army's Daiwang Gongzi", stood out among more than 500 entries and won the Outstanding Work Award of the China Television Artists Association's "Ideal Illuminates China - Commemorating the Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" series. The 100 outstanding works selected this time will be collected by the National Library of China, and in the future, documentaries will be regularly screened and interacted with around the education of party history on related themes.

The documentary "Secret Camp Traces - Northeast Volunteer Army Daiwang Gongzi Secret Camp Site Exploration" consists of three episodes, and the filming team is composed of the backbone of the documentary studio of Jilin Radio and Television Station. In the two years of pre-shooting, the video footage reached 10t, and then after a year of careful editing, the post-production was completed.
In October 2017, the film crew followed a 7-person investigation team led by the Longtan District Archives Bureau to track and record the entire investigation process. Investigators went from not initially believing there would be a secret camp here, to a little bit of a cocoon: Who is here? What was done? Where do they live? What to eat? How to fight... The main characters dig out the story from the beginning with only one code name to a little bit, and through oral history, field investigation, and fieldwork, let this red memory awaken in the dust of history, so that many unsung heroes can reappear.
Organized by the Documentary Academic Committee of the China Television Artists Association, the China Documentary Academic Ceremony is the selection activity with the highest standard professional award in China's documentary industry, as well as the selection activity with the largest number, largest scale and highest specification for domestic documentary participation.
