Kexing preliminary study shows that the positive rate of enhanced needle neutralizing Omiljunn antibodies is 94%

Many places around the world have detected the Olmi kerong strain, and the research on the new crown vaccine for the Aumi kerong variant has also been urgently put on the agenda. On December 15, a client reporter from Beijing Daily learned from SINOVAC that Coxing had recently obtained two strains of the new coronavirus Omicron from Hong Kong.

"The latest laboratory findings show that 20 doses of CoronaVac and 48 doses of CoronaVac were tested for neutralizing antibodies using one of the Strains of TheOmilon virus, with a positive rate of 35 percent for serum neutralizing antibodies after 20 doses of two doses and a positive rate of 94 percent for serum neutralizing antibodies after 48 doses of three doses of vaccine." The relevant person in charge of Kexing said that the above results show that the vaccination of the third dose of vaccine can effectively improve the neutralization ability of serum to the Omicron virus strain.

Kexing said that at present, the comparative detection of another strain of Themi kerong virus is underway, and Kexing is conducting further research on serum at more post-immunization time points and different antibody levels to obtain a comprehensive evaluation of the impact of the Aomi kerong virus strain on the vaccine.

On December 14, local time, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that the Aumecreon strain has appeared in 77 countries and regions around the world. Even if some countries have not yet detected the Omiljung strain, it is likely that the strain has spread to most countries and regions.

The reporter noted that according to the information updated by the World Health Organization on November 28, scientists' understanding of Omilon is still limited, and it is not clear whether Omilon is more contagious than other variants including Delta, nor is it clear whether infection with Omilon will lead to more serious diseases compared with other variants (including Delta). Whether Ormicron will affect the effectiveness of current COVID-19 vaccines, tests or treatments still needs to be studied.
