Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Liu Bei, fledgling dare to challenge the world's first, and still fight and win, the courage is commendable, and the strength is also amazing. However, if you fight one more, you will not be able to win in the end.
So if Zhang Fei didn't have Guan Yu to help him, and he fought Lü Bu alone, how many rounds could he walk under Lü Bu's hands?
First analyze Zhang Fei lü bu's strength.
According to the original text of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms:
A general on the side, round eyes, upside-down tiger whiskers, eight snake spears, Pegasus shouted: "Three surname family slaves Hugh away!" Yanren Zhang Fei is here! It is strange to say that Lü Bu and Zhang Fei play without winning or losing? Since Lü Bu and Zhang Fei were on an equal footing, why did Guan Yu come to help? In fact, in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, there is no distinction between victory and defeat, and many of them all imply victory and defeat, but they are not obviously revealed.
For example, Lü Bu also played Thirty rounds of Xu Chu, and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms also said that there was no difference between victory and defeat. But Cao Cao sent Dianwei to help, and it wasn't even enough. Until: "Xiahou Chun and Xiahou Yuan on the left, Li Dian and Le Jin on the right will arrive together, and the six members will attack Lü Bu together", lü Bu will "not be able to cover it, and return to the city on horseback".
Therefore, the meaning of winning or losing in Luo Guanzhong's pen is that it has not yet shown obvious defeat. We can't see the real victory or defeat, only the master can see it, of course, there are also those who really played a draw.
So "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" continues with a paragraph:
Yun Chang saw it, slapped the horse, and danced eighty-two pounds of green dragon and moon knives to attack Lü Bu. Three martins fight. The battle reached thirty, and the battle could not defeat Lü Bu.
Guan Yu, like Cao Cao, is a clear-eyed person who can see where others can't see. Moreover, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei are brothers, and he knows Zhang Fei well. Zhang Fei was really downwind when he hit fifty rounds. After Guan Yu joined, he would not talk about it, and there was no difference between winning and losing. Only to say that the battle does not overthrow Lü Bu shows that Lü Bu's defeat has already been revealed, but it is only a temporary stalemate.
The difference between this and the previous description of victory or defeat is that in one place, who can see the defeat of one side? Passers-by watching the battle next to it can see that the defeat has been revealed, which means that the people who are caught in the downwind cannot support it for long. Zhang Fei fell into the inferior position, and the defeat was not obvious. It shows that he can still walk under Lü Bu's hands for a long time!
Secondly, Zhang Fei has not yet reached the point of exhaustion, and Guan Yu joined at this time, perhaps just too worried about his brother. So how many rounds can Zhang Fei walk?
In fact, Zhang Fei and Lü Bu had a head-to-head, the sixteenth time in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms:
Zhang Fei threw out his gun and said, "I took your good horse!" How are you doing today? Bu scolded, "Ring-eyed thief! You look down on me twice! Fei Yue: "You will be annoyed if I rob you of your horse, and you will not say anything if you take my brother's Xuzhou!" There were more than a hundred rounds of fighting here, and there was no victory or defeat. So when the three Heroes fight Lü Bu, can it be said that they can play more than a hundred rounds? Can you still win or lose? No, the battle between Zhang Fei and Lü Bu was already very different from the battle between the three Heroes and Lü Bu. Many years had passed during this period, and Zhang Fei's strength had advanced by leaps and bounds, while Lü Bu had stagnated because of his infatuation with mink cicadas. Moreover, more than a hundred rounds is almost an upper limit of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", and the strength of the two sides here is almost exhausted, and they are unable to fight again. So it's a real draw.
So how many rounds can Zhang Fei still walk in Lü Bu's hands? I think that after playing more than twenty rounds at that time, Zhang Fei was about to show defeat. When it reaches thirty to forty rounds, one careless person will be beheaded by Lü Bu!
Because if Zhang Fei will be defeated within a few rounds to a dozen rounds, then the defeat will definitely be revealed. If Zhang Fei and Lü Bu could still play more than fifty rounds, Guan Yu would not have joined the battle group so early to help Zhang Fei. After all, Guan Yu is also a proud person, he must have helped Zhang Fei to fight more and less, it must be because he saw that Zhang Fei would be defeated and doubtful, and it was very likely to be killed.
Because Zhang Fei is an explosive martial artist, his playing style is to swing a spear and attack like a storm. Although this style of play is powerful, it is also weak. The more he dragged on, the more flaws in his playing style became. Guan Yu should have noticed this when he was usually practicing with him.
