The anti-Japanese heroes in the imperial family of the Qing Dynasty were cut off by their tongues and gouged out their eyes before their deaths, and their heads were soaked for 73 years before they were welcomed back

In September 1931, the Japanese army occupied the northeast, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty Puyi also went to the northeast, he also established the puppet Manchukuo, became a puppet of the Japanese, learned of the establishment of the puppet Manchukuo, at that time the imperial relatives and nobles in the northeast were all rejoicing, a large number of Manchurian nobles sold their lives under Puyi, but there was a royal family relative who was an exception, he not only did not go to Puyi and the Japanese, but held high the banner of anti-Japanese resistance, vowed to defend the country to the death, he was Chen Hanzhang, a now little known anti-Japanese hero.

Chen Hanzhang, alias Xunhui, is a Manchu royal son, he was born in a wealthy family in Dunhua County, Jilin Province, at the age of 4 he went to a private school, 14 years old to take the exam and won the fourth place in the county, in December 1930, he became a teacher after graduating from middle school, born rich, coupled with stable and superior work, if honestly at home as a shunmin, it can be said that Chen Hanzhang will live a very comfortable life.

But in the face of the japanese invasion, he could not sit idly by, so he resolutely left everything in front of him and threw himself into the anti-Japanese contingent he was fighting for, after the fall of Dunhua County, Chen Hanzhang joined the anti-Japanese National Salvation Army, served as a clerk in the headquarters, and also participated in the battle against the county town of Ning'an, and later he joined our party, and with the continuous growth of the anti-Japanese contingent, the National Salvation Army was also changed to the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army.

In October 1937, the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Army had grown to more than 40,000 people, and Chen Hanzhang also served as the commander of the 5th Division of the Second Army of the Anti-Japanese Coalition, and the anti-Japanese troops he led fought against the Japanese army in the area of Ning'an County, and on the other hand, the famous anti-Japanese hero Yang Jingyu organized troops to fight with the Japanese army.

According to statistics, in the six months from June to December 1939, Chen Hanzhang took the initiative to raid the Japanese army 55 times, killing no less than dozens of officers of the Kwantung Army and lieutenant level, and eliminating countless Japanese troops and puppet soldiers.

Everyone knows that the traitor Cheng Bin betrayed Yang Jingyu, but it is rarely known that the traitor Cheng Bin not only betrayed Yang Jingyu, but also killed Chen Hanzhang, and after Cheng Bin surrendered to the enemy, he took the initiative to inform the Japanese army of the location where the materials of the Anti-Allied Forces were buried, resulting in the destruction of all the materials, and the Anti-Coalition troops fell into a desperate situation of hunger and lack of ammunition.

What was even more shameless was that in order to force Chen Hanzhang to surrender, the Japanese army also arrested Chen Hanzhang's parents and sister and brutally abused the mother and daughter in order to force Chen Hanzhang to surrender.

On the night of December 7, 1940, Chen Hanzhang led the remaining dozens of people to spend the night in the village, did not expect to be betrayed by the traitors, the Japanese army heard the news that Chen Hanzhang was surrounded by regiments, after a night of fierce fighting, the next afternoon Chen Hanzhang was wounded and captured, when Chen Hanzhang was dying, the Japanese army cut off his tongue and eyes, and also cut off his head, used to deter the anti-Japanese team, chen Hanzhang was only 27 years old when he died.

The heads of Chen Hanzhang and Yang Jingyu were collected by the Japanese army and placed in puppet Manchukuo until 1948, when they were discovered in the former medical school of the Japanese army in Changchun, and 73 years later, on June 13, 2013, after many negotiations, the heads of heroes who had been soaked for decades were catered to and buried in the Dunhua County Martyrs' Cemetery.
