According to Mr. Xu Liaoyuan, the torch designer, the design of "Ronghuo", in addition to modern artistic expression, is full of ancient Shu cultural characteristics. At the top of the torch, the gold ornament pattern of the sun god bird excavated from the Jinsha site in Chengdu is placed in the flame vent, showing a beautiful arc in the quenching, bravely pursuing the light. The 4 sacred birds fly around the rotating sun, repeating the cycle, repeating and endlessly, reflecting the strong worship of the sun and birds by ancient humans, and expressing the ancient Shu people's praise for life and movement. At the same time, as a symbol of Chinese cultural heritage, it is placed at the mouth of the "Ronghuo" torch, which not only allows the world to see the light of Chengdu's golden sands through three thousand years, but also makes the city's humanistic spirit shine with great luck.

On the side of the torch, a giant panda with a cute attitude surrounds the torch with both hands, and its staggered gestures are consistent with the bronze standing figure excavated from the Jinsha site, reflecting the spiritual meaning of enthusiasm, harmony and tolerance.

Above the main venue of the Universiade, Dong'an Lake Sports Park, 12,540 pieces of colored glazed glass assemble about 27,000 square meters of sun god birds, which is the largest in the world and another miracle created by China' manufacturing, Chinese construction and China's creation.

On the Torch Tower of the Universiade, the 12 rays of light on the gold ornament of the Sun God Bird are transformed into 12 spiral space curves on the tower; the cirrus pattern on the golden trumpet shape becomes the modeling source of the tower crown; and the bright gold taken from the precious cultural relics of the golden sand such as the golden mask lays the brightest background color for the torch tower of the ancient Shu civilization.

The Jinsha ruins, which were launched in 2001, advanced the history of Chengdu to about 3,000 years ago, and found the historical roots for Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city. The Chengdu Universiade, following the 2001 Beijing Universiade and the 2011 Shenzhen Universiade, Chinese mainland held the Summer Universiade, and the first time that western China has hosted the World Comprehensive Games. The golden sand elements that frequently brush their faces will let the world see the profound heritage of Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city, and help the construction of a world event city in this international sports event.

Mr. Xu Liaoyuan believes that "for a civilization with written records, people should seek its history; for Jinsha, perhaps the best way to interpret it is aesthetics." "In the exhibits, from the sculptures inspired by the bronze people to the 3D artworks created with the image of the golden sands bronze bird, all of them present the shape, spiritual posture and soul state of the ancient Shu people that have continued to this day.

It is reported that the exhibition is supported by the Development Activities Department of the Executive Committee of the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu, co-sponsored by chengdu Jinsha Site Museum and Chengdu Xu Liaoyuan Museum of Modern Design and Art, and the exhibition will continue to be on display until January 15, 2022.
