GoShare services from Gogoro enter Indonesia

DoNews December 14 (Liu Wenxuan) GoShare, a shared electric bike service launched by Taiwanese electric car brand Gogoro with 1.3 million users in Taiwan, today announced that it has officially landed in Indonesia, the largest motorcycle market in Southeast Asia, by integrating the GoShare for Business technology platform with a complete solution for Gogoro smart electric locomotives.

GoShare services from Gogoro enter Indonesia

GoShare partnered with Gojek, a subsidiary of GoTo, Indonesia's largest technology company, to customize a one-stop solution to launch a pilot program of intelligent e-mobility jointly promoted by Gogoro and GoTo in Jakarta. Integrate Gogoro's smart electric motorcycle fleet customized for Gojek, Gogoro Network intelligent battery switching network, fleet cloud management system, and GoShare for Business App for enterprise partners, and put into the daily operation of Gojek's core business such as car hailing and delivery from the end of the year.

That said, goShare's service in Indonesia is mainly for Gojek to provide gogoro electric locomotives needed by knights, which is different from the shared electric car service provided in Taiwan. In Indonesia, Gojek provides a call-in locomotive service, through which users can call a driver riding a Gogoro.

The GoTo Group, hoping to fully electrify the Gojek fleet and achieve zero carbon emissions by 2030, introduced Gogoro externally and built a GoStation battery exchange station in Jakarta with Pertamina, Indonesia's national oil and gas company.
