The tomb robbers moved too much to attract the archaeological team, and a cultural relic was found in the tomb, the archaeological team: please Beijing experts

In 2004, in a small mountain village in Shanxi, the villagers noticed that there were many strangers in the village, but these strangers did not do anything, so the villagers did not think much about it. Until one night, a loud noise came from the north of the village, and the villagers were awakened by the loud noise, and the security personnel in charge of the village and some of the villagers immediately rushed to the place where the sound came from to check the situation.

When they arrived at the north of the village, they were shocked by what they saw: there were many huge deep holes in the fields north of the village, and there were traces of the explosion. Shanxi is an ancient city, and the villagers here are very familiar with the ancient tombs and know how the ancient tombs are excavated, so when the villagers saw this scene, they immediately understood that this was an ancient tomb, and the tomb robbers destroyed it! The inspector immediately called the police and contacted the relevant departments.

After the cultural department learned of the situation, it immediately dispatched staff, and after arriving at the north of the village and exploring the site, they found that there were ancient tombs buried underground, and the tomb robbers had already taken the lead. The staff, with permission, carried out conservation excavations of the area, and after they went underground, they found many tools used in the tomb robbery and some damaged artifacts.

The archaeologists are very helpless about this, after all, the tomb robbers did find the ancient tomb here one step ahead of them, and the archaeologists were actually mentally prepared when they entered the ancient tomb, and they expected that the ancient tomb had been destroyed and a large number of cultural relics were lost. However, when the archaeological team explored the entire tomb, it was found that there was a huge tomb underground, and the tomb robbers stole only a small part of the entire tomb.

After a period of excavation, through the artifacts found in it, the archaeological team concluded that this is an ancient tomb from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, and according to the specifications, it is most likely a tomb of a king. In the first two tombs, tens of thousands of cultural relics were found, which is a very surprising number, and these cultural relics have a long history, and the value of which is immeasurable.

During the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, copper smelting technology was relatively skilled, and there were more bronzes, and this ancient tomb was also very in line with the background of the times, from which many bronzes were excavated, including a delicate bronze vessel with an inscription engraved on it, indicating the identity of the owner of the tomb. It turned out that the owner of this ancient tomb was called Qiu Bo, who was the monarch of the Kingdom of Wei, and this bronze was made by him for his wife Bi Ji. This is a major discovery, because before this, there was never a record of the Kingdom of Wei in the historical records, and historians have always believed that this place was the territory of the State of Jin, and this discovery clearly shows that in the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, there was a small state next to the State of Jin, called the State of Wei.

It is said that it is a small country, in fact, it is only compared with the Jin state, in fact, the country is not weak, because the cultural relics found in the tomb are not only extremely numerous but also the production process is very advanced, which is by no means a small country's national strength can do. However, I don't know why, such a country has never appeared in the history books, as if it did not exist, until three thousand years later due to the theft of the tomb finally reappeared in front of the eyes of the world.

There are many precious artifacts found in the ancient tombs, and the most important of them is located in the tomb of Biji. What many people did not expect was that as a woman, whether it was the funerary goods in the tomb or the specifications of the tomb, she was higher than her husband, the uncle. Experts speculate that Bi Ji is likely to be the royal bloodline of the Zhou Dynasty.

On the fifth day of the excavation of the tomb, the archaeologists entered Biji's tomb, and they made an important discovery inside, which was the red silk covering Biji's coffin. It is very rare that bronzes can be left behind for thousands of years, and the silk that can be preserved after three thousand years is the first time that archaeologists have seen it.

The leaders knew that the silk fabrics on the coffin could not be touched casually, and that it was very likely that the cultural relics would be damaged if they moved at their level, so they immediately withdrew from the tomb and invited experts from Beijing. After the experts arrived, they used advanced technology to remove the silk fabrics up to ten meters long. According to experts, the silk fabric that covers the coffin is called the desolation, but it has only existed in the history books, and this is the first actual discovery.
