Now that the flagships are getting closer and closer to the core configuration, the top processors and the best hardware have been seen, so how to compete with opponents with personalized and differentiated selling points, or even surpass opponents, has become the most important problem for various manufacturers to pay attention to. Taking the iQOO 8 Pro and Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 as examples, what efforts have they put into trying to surpass their opponents? Who ended up laughing at the end? Let's compare them directly.

First of all, from the screen, the tendencies of the two flagships are somewhat different. The iQOO 8 Pro focuses on the display effect and the visual experience. Whether it is 2K resolution, Samsung E5 luminous material and LTPO stepless variable speed, etc., they all represent the highest level of screens in the current smartphone industry; on the other hand, although the screen of Xiaomi MIX 4 is also quite good, there is indeed a gap between 1080p resolution and overall visual effects compared with Samsung. Its biggest feature is the off-screen camera technology, so the overallity is higher from the visual effect. The difference in focus also means that they are suitable for different types of consumers: the former is more practical and rational, while the latter is more "trendy" and more topical. In fact, from my personal point of view, removing some small camera holes does not have much impact on visual effects and daily use, or more comprehensive parameters and technology, more attractive.
Then in terms of core configuration, both flagships are the strongest chipsets like the Snapdragon 888 Plus. However, from the point of view of the running score of the Antutu platform, the performance of iQOO 8 Pro exceeds 850,000, and the performance of Xiaomi MIX 4 is less than 810,000, although the difference is not obvious, the daily use perception is not strong, but the gap with the configuration of running points still shows that iQOO 8 Pro is slightly better in system optimization and conditions.
So how much difference will there be in the actual game testing process? We tested them separately with Glory of Kings and Elite of Peace. From the results, it can be seen that there is still a slight gap in the performance of the two, but it is not obvious. The average frame rates of iQOO 8 Pro and Xiaomi Mix 4 in Honor of Kings are 60.1fps and 60fps, respectively, while the average frame rate of Peace Elite is 59.9fps and 59.1fps, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that in the test of "Glory of Kings", Xiaomi MIX 4 supports up to 90 frame mode, and iQOO 8 Pro supports the highest 120 frame mode. Therefore, the actual game look and feel of the latter is also more silky, more in line with the identity of the official designated machine of its KPL league.
Through a simple comparison, we still see the difference between the iQOO 8 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. The former is significantly more pragmatic and more focused on the overall experience, while the latter is more inclined to try new technologies that are not too mature, and it is easier to create topics in the circle. So from this point of view, the iQOO 8 Pro is obviously a more rational choice for those non-Xiaomi fans.
