Remedy: Psycho Killer 2 is more terrifying and will at least receive an M rating

It's been 11 years since Remedy launched the original Mind Killer, so many fans may no longer be looking forward to a sequel. According to Remedy, the long-awaited new game from fans will be a more adult-oriented horror game.

The original Mind Killer contained some horror elements and drew inspiration from Stephen King's novel, but it didn't have a full horror game at its core. Psycho Killer 2 is different, with creator Sam Lake confirming that this will be a Remedy version of the recently exploded survival horror game. In an interview with IGN, Lake added: "Horror stories are psychological, layered, and deep mysteries. Yes, new works will be terrible. ”

MindKiller 2 is a horror game, which means it will be more radical than the original game, and players may encounter more content that makes them feel uncomfortable than before. This will be reflected in Mind killer 2's ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rating. Although the official rating of the new game has not yet been announced, Remedy said that this time it will receive an M (16+) rating instead of the T (teenager) rating obtained by the first game. In an interview with IGN, Lake said mind killer 2's M rating was a "liberation," meaning Remedy no longer had to censor and block elements of the original design.
