Taierzhuang, Shandong, 13 Dec (Hou Tian, Peijing) -- On December 13, the Eighth National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre, a series of activities with the theme of "Don't Forget the National Shame and Revitalize China" were held in the Taierzhuang Great War Site Park to mourn the victims of the Nanjing Massacre and stimulate the people's patriotic feelings.

On that day, 8,400 red candles were placed in the heritage park with the words "12.13" and "heart-shaped" motifs. As the alarm sounded, the people spontaneously held chrysanthemums and observed a minute of silence to mourn the victims of the Nanjing Massacre, recite the Declaration of Peace, and present flowers to the martyrs in front of the bullet hole wall.
