Wuhan Metro Line 5 is built along the river and is the first fully autonomous subway line in Wuhan. There are 25 stations on the whole line, including 11 special stations. Wuhan Iron and Steel Station: Glorious years

The main lighting is carried out by customized industrial modeling lamps and lanterns, and the shaping of the overall space allows the public to feel the spirit of WISCO when entering the station, an innovative industrial pioneer, and a backbone of a strong steel country.
The theme of the art wall of Wisteel Station, "Poetry of Steel", takes people to rediscover the "poetic beauty" of WISCO, and also shapes the spirit of WISCO with a will like steel. Between the lines, a "hymn of the years" was composed exclusively for the people of Steel City.
Peace Park Station: Thousands of trees and trees

Peace Park Station Art Wall Theme - "Children's Fun". The work closely revolves around the theme of "childlike fun", using more than 1 million stone mosaics with warm and feminine texture to form a beautiful picture with ink artistic conception. The free-flying peace dove, the childhood "origami pigeon", and the cheerful children are selected as the main elements of the picture, and the combination of movement and stillness makes the picture full of strong vitality. Walking south along Jianshe 8th Road in Wuhan's Qingshan District, a red brick and red tile structure, three-story spire, and a red house with a bit of Russian style comes into view. The same red small building, courtyard-style pattern, standing on a high place, like a big happy word - this is the earliest family area of Wuhan Iron and Steel, the famous "red house", people love to call "red steel city".
Honggangcheng Station takes the theme of "Red City Years", the station starts from the original style of Honggangcheng, extracts the organic combination of steel elements and modern materials on the top surface, adopts characteristic forms such as slope roofs, uses I-beam combined with the form of wrought iron, emphasizes standardization and modeling, and forms a neat and orderly modeling form on the top surface of the station. The pillar extracts the "red house" red brick elements, uses high-strength fiber board with imitation red brick texture for imitation, the wall surface restores the old building form, the upper and lower use of red imitation bricks, and the middle area adopts gray high-strength fiber cement board to create a nostalgic sense of old Wuhan, so that passengers remember it vividly, the ground is made of white linen stone, and the lighting method effectively combines the industrial and mining lamps with high industrial elements, aiming to integrate the subway space into the surrounding environment and highlight the streetscape characteristics of old Wuhan.
The theme of the art wall of Honggangcheng Station - "City Red". Inspired by the red brick family building of Wuhan Iron and Steel Company, which was located in Qingshan District in 1954, the art wall uses simple geometric treatment to express the distinctive roof and window ledge, one window and one scene, connecting the present and history, reproducing the struggle process of the people of HonggangCheng, with cast copper and stone relief craftsmanship, with a staggered picture layout, and stitching out the impression scrolls of the old streets of HonggangCheng.
Yangyuan Railway Fourth Courtyard Station: New City Imprint
Yangyuan Tiesiyuan Station to "New City Imprint" as the design theme, through tracing its historical origins and investigating the surrounding architectural characteristics, with European style elements as the main line running through the station hall, the walls and columns are decorated with beige marble, while the top surface combines modernist techniques, the overall classical beauty and postmodern artistic shape are perfectly combined, the two sides are wrapped in white punched mesh plates for pipelines, and the top surface of the middle area is artistically treated with starry sky patterns. And the form of steel wire weaving to create a magical space, so that people have a feeling of being in the European courtyard, while avoiding the European style to bring people a sense of heaviness, so that passengers have a wonderful experience like time and space travel.
The theme of the art wall of Yangyuan Tiesiyuan Station is "The Running Era". Yangyuan subway station is adjacent to Wuhan's important railway engineering design unit - Tiesiyuan, the station art work "Benten Times" takes the history of railway engineering design as the background, takes "railway track" as the main element of the picture composition, uses abstract lines shaped like meandering and crisscrossing railway tracks, and after clever combination and arrangement, outlines the appearance of various major design projects designed by the Tiesiyuan. With gold as the main color, it creates the atmosphere and perception of the galloping times and the golden years, which not only shows the fruitful results of the Tiesiyuan, but also reflects the glory of Yangyuan as an important region of Wuhan and even China's engineering design.
Xujiapeng Station: Urban Forest
Xujiapeng is located on the yangtze River Second Bridge River, as a passage connecting Wuhan Rail Transit Line 7 and Line 8, the design of the art mural of Line 5 continues the design theme of the previous Line 7 and Line 8, still selects reeds with Jiangcheng characteristics as design elements, and strives to unify the design elements and express different forms. The uniqueness of the art murals at this site is that starting from the reed scene in summer, it does not stick to the expression of the characteristics of the reeds at this fixed time node, and pays more attention to the poetic presentation of the overall atmosphere, so that the viewer can have new observations and different feelings. The four seasons change, and the reeds are always lush, which means that Line 5 is tenacious and vigorous. The artistic technique of freehand painting is used to present the beauty of nature and create a visual enjoyment of "the wind blows the reeds and flowers flutter, and people swim in the middle of the painting".
Wuhan's first fully autonomous train
Line 5 project is the first fully autonomous driving train in Wuhan, with a maximum design speed of 80km/h, and the vehicles are A-type cars with 6 cars. The train adopts a domestic FAO system with completely independent intellectual property rights, which can realize the automatic operation of the world's highest level (GoA4), representing the current high level of industrialization, informatization and intelligence of advanced intelligent trains in China, and is also a new leap in the rail industry "Made in Wuhan".
The fully automatic train does not have the traditional train cab, and adopts the passenger room integration design, which greatly improves the passenger riding experience, and passengers can enjoy the panoramic view of the subway tunnel through the glass window at the front of the train, and experience the speed sense of the train at full speed.
Achieve full coverage of the subway in the main urban area
Wuhan Rail Transit Line 5 project runs through wuchang town from north to south, and is laid on an important passenger transportation corridor along the Yangtze River, which is the first backbone line in Wuchang area and the first subway line in Qingshan District.
Line 5 starts from Huangjiahu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the south, passes through Fengsheng Road, Baishazhou Avenue, Fuxing Road, Simenmen, Tan Hualin, Wuchang Binjiang Business District, Yangyuan, Peace Park, Honggang City, Wuhan Iron and Steel Area to the end of Wuhan Railway Station East Square.
Line 5 has 25 stations, including Guangxia Station, Fuxing Road Station, Simen Yellow Crane Tower Station, Xujiapeng Station, Honggangcheng Station, and Wuhan Iron and Steel Station, of which 10 are interchange stations. The total length of the main line is 35.1 km, of which the elevated section is about 7.6 km long and there are 4 stations; the underground line is about 27.2 km long, and the transition section is 0.3 km, with 21 stations.
After the completion and opening of Line 5, it will effectively alleviate traffic congestion in the central urban area of Wuchang, improve the traffic conditions in Qingshan District, continuously improve the rail transit network architecture, improve the connectivity level of the established road network, and at the same time help accelerate the upgrading and transformation of the old city along the line, accelerate the development and construction of the areas to be developed along the line, and further optimize the layout function of the urban area.
