Today's young people all agree that Fang Wenshan's words and Jay Chou's songs are a perfect match, and for the post-70s and post-80s, they still have a pair of perfect matches in the music world, that is, Liu Zhuohui's words and Huang Jiaju's songs, which are the lingering memories of a generation. Yesterday afternoon, the Big Dream Bookstore in the Rong Qiao Center came to a lot of people, all of whom are fans of the famous Hong Kong rock band be⁃ yond. They waited quietly for Beyond's "royal" lyricist, the famous Hong Kong musician Lau Cheuk-fai, to take him

The newly published book Beyond 3.0 is on sale at Rong. The Fuzhou Evening News reporter interviewed Liu Zhuohui exclusively before the event began.

In 1988, the Beijing concert was in danger of leaving Maicheng

Liu Zhuohui began working with Beyond in 1987, collaborating on 12 songs with Huang Jiaju, the most famous of which is "The Land". This song made Beyond, who had been hovering at a low ebb before, famous in one fell swoop, from an obscure underground band to a dazzling star band in the Chinese music scene.

Liu Zhuohui told reporters: "'The Land' is a story about my uncle, written about veterans who followed the Kuomintang to Taiwan, separated from their relatives on the mainland, until Taiwan announced that veterans were allowed to return to the mainland to visit their relatives. My grandfather's younger brother, my uncle, was a Kuomintang veteran who went to Taiwan in 1949. This is a song that expresses the feelings of the two sides of the Strait. ”

In October 1988, Beyond was invited to the Capital Gymnasium to hold a special concert, and at that time, most Beijingers did not know beyond, because it was crowned with the sign of the Hong Kong concert, and the tickets sold very hot, basically full. Concert tickets are available in 5 yuan, 4 yuan and 3 yuan. Considering that most of the songs sung by Beyond are Cantonese songs, Huang Guanzhong was specially arranged to sing the Chinese version of "The Land", and Huang Jiaju covered Cui Jian's "Nothing".

Liu Zhuohui recalled: "Beijingers were unable to accept Cantonese songs at that time, and when the first half of the beyond sang Cantonese songs, the audience reacted very coldly, halfway through the performance, and more than half of the audience walked on the scene. It wasn't until the Chinese version of "The Earth" sounded, coupled with Huang Jiaju's 'I used to ask for an endless...", that the concert atmosphere was heated, otherwise it would really be maicheng. ”

I want to leave you with a real beyond

Liu Zhuohui believes that Beyond has experienced 30 years from its establishment in 1983 to 2013. The first decade was a decade with Huang Jiaju; the second decade was when there was no Huang Jiaju, and the singers were Huang Guanzhong, Huang Jiaqiang, and Ye Shirong; in the third decade, the band really disbanded, and the three singers developed independently.

Liu Zhuohui said: "I have cooperated with Beyond and the 3 singers after the dissolution of the band, and the clutch is the life of the band, which is normal. I and beyond are both post-60s, fortunately, I followed them through "Gray Track", through "The Land", saw "Farmer", climbed "The Great Wall", endured "Regret Without Tears", and looked back, it was "Silent Years". ”

In June this year, "Beyond 3.0" was published, and yesterday was Liu Zhuohui's 33rd signing party in China. He traveled around the cities to tell fans a real beyond.

This book records the details of the band's early formation to its impressive achievements in the music industry, and then to the death of Wong Ka-koo and the three sons flying alone, and also records the development of the Hong Kong music scene in various periods, as well as the brotherly feelings between the band members. The interpretation of friendship, family affection, and love is the true value of this book.

He has packaged singers such as Gao Xiaosong Old Wolf

Liu Zhuohui said: "Beyond members are all masters, everyone can write lyrics, compose, arrange, play, lead singer, every time Beyond comes out with a new album, leaving me with only one or two songs." Cantonese songs are basically scored first, and then filled in the words. Because I can't eat enough,' I can only write works such as "I just want to go with you all my life", "I'm from Beijing", "Friendship Years", "Years Like Songs", "Love Wind and Dust" and other works for Jacky Cheung, Li Ming, Eason Chan, Zheng Yijian, Chen Huixian and others. Later, beyond went to Japan to develop, and because I was relatively idle, I went to Beijing to open a Land Record Company to package mainland singers in the Hong Kong model. At that time, Gao Xiaosong, Lao Wolf, Shen Qing, Ai Jing and others recommended their songs to me, and I gave them the campus folk song signboard for publication and distribution, including classic songs such as "You at the Same Table" and "Brother Sleeping on My Bunk Bed". ”

Liu Zhuohui told reporters: "In June 1993, Huang Jiaju died of a fall when he participated in the recording of a variety show in Japan, at the age of 31. Rolling Stone Records was the first to release a tribute to Wong Ka Koo album "Have Fun", which included 3 of my works: Lin Yilian's "Lover", Zhao Chuan's Chinese version of "Dadi" and Singaporean singer's Cantonese version of "Dadi". ”

Today, Liu Zhuohui spends most of his time in the mainland, filling in words, being a music program judge, playing Weibo, and committing to the combination of music and the Internet. "If you write lyrics, you can now write an average of 12 songs a year. Fuzhou I came for the first time, because I had to rush to Xiamen to attend the next signing party, and this time I basically did not go to the streets in Fuzhou. He said.
