The Forbidden City was originally built during the Ming Dynasty, and Zhu Di defeated Emperor Jianwen after the "Battle of Jingnan" and became the emperor of the Ming Dynasty. After research, experts have found that the reason why the palace of the Forbidden City does not have bird droppings is related to the structure and materials designed by ancient craftsmen when they built it. The most significant feature of the palaces of the Forbidden City is that they are large, but the roofs of these grand palaces are curved, and the corners of the roofs that can be used for birds to fall are relatively small. When the Forbidden City was built, smooth glazed tiles were used, and it was not easy for birds with such a smooth surface to fall. It is this ingenious design that makes the birds dare not stay for a long time, and they cannot excrete feces, keeping the roof of the palace clean and tidy, reflecting the splendor of the royal palace.
In fact, ancient craftsmen will consider these points when building palaces, why do you say so, Tiananmen square before the founding of the People's Republic of China is the best example. Tiananmen Square is an important city gate of the Forbidden City, but this city gate is full of disasters and difficulties, it has been struck by lightning many times and caught fire, and it was destroyed by Li Zicheng's peasant rebel army in 1644!
