On November 23, 2018, the Sixth Session of the Standing Committee of the 13th People's Congress of Jiangsu Province unanimously passed the Regulations on the Guarantee of National Public Sacrifices in Nanjing (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations). As the host of the national public sacrifice for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre, Nanjing officially adopted local legislation to protect the public sacrifice activities.
