Today is December 13, the eighth National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre.
At 8:00 a.m., the memorial hall of the compatriots killed in the Nanjing Massacre of the Japanese invasion of China raised the national flag and lowered the flag to half-mast to mourn. From 10:01 to 10:02 a.m., the alarm will sound all over Nanjing.

In December 1937, the Japanese invading China caused the Nanjing Massacre, killing more than 300,000 unarmed Chinese civilians and soldiers who laid down their weapons, leaving indelible wounds for the survivors of the disaster.
In 1984, only 61 survivors remained registered with the Nanjing Victims' Assistance Association for the Japanese Invasion of China. We recorded the names and portraits of some of the survivors for historical evidence.
In this human catastrophe, almost every 12 seconds a compatriot is killed. American John Magee risked his life to secretly photograph the atrocities of the Japanese army, which is the only moving image of the Nanjing Massacre found so far.
If you don't forget
And they "live."
In the name of the nation
Condolences to my fellow citizens
