December 13 is the eighth National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre, a day when the sound of a poignant siren will once again be the background of the entire country.

On the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the party, the whole country mourns the victims of the Nanjing Massacre, comforts the deceased, and warns the people of the country even more, historical tragedies must not be repeated, and the historical footsteps of the Chinese nation toward great rejuvenation are unstoppable.
For the history of the evidence! Only 61 registered survivors of the Nanjing Massacre remain
In December 1937, the Invading Japanese Army created the Nanjing Massacre, in which more than 300,000 unarmed Chinese civilians and soldiers who laid down their arms were brutally killed, leaving the survivors of the disaster with indelible memories of pain and suffering.
As the 84 years passed, survivors continued to die. From December 13, 2020 to the present, 12 more survivors have passed away. As of press time, there were only 61 surviving survivors registered by the Victims' Assistance Association of the Japanese Invasion of China in Nanjing. On December 12, on the eve of the National Day of Commemoration for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre, the weather in Nanjing was cold, but from early in the morning, at many burial sites of the victims of the Nanjing Massacre of the Japanese invasion of China, citizens spontaneously came to mourn the compatriots who were killed through silence and flower offering.
The reporter saw at the scene that many of the citizens came from their families. In front of the monument to the compatriots killed outside the Hanzhong Gate of the Nanjing Massacre of the Japanese Invasion of China, students and parents from The Shigu Road Primary School in Nanjing City came in batches to lay flowers. Parents of students said that they should let their children understand this history from an early age, and inspire them to cherish peace and study hard through this history.
