From January to August 2020, the water quality of the West Mountain section of the Mantis River, a tributary of the Yangtze River, fluctuated abnormally, and it was suspected that some enterprises had illegally discharged sewage, and the Xishan Branch Bureau quickly launched a special action to investigate and rectify enterprises along the West Mountain Section of the Mantis River. There are many enterprises in the Haikou area of Xishan District, and some illegal sewage enterprises steal sewage from sewage are hidden and irregular, with tight time and heavy tasks, and the difficulty of investigation can be imagined. In order to find out the hidden dangers of sewage discharge as soon as possible, in the case of insufficient manpower, we can only choose to race against time. Sometimes in order to investigate and punish illegal sewage enterprises in the early morning, Li Xuesong and his colleagues stayed on the mountain all night. One early morning of a winter day, it was so cold that I was talking and shivering. At that time, his right hand had just been scratched by glass, the thumb tendon was broken 2 times, 29 stitches were stitched, the right hand could not move, colleagues advised him to go home to recuperate, but he stubbornly chose to stick to the scene. He said: "The right hand is injured, there is still a left hand to work, don't worry about me, keep an eye on the sewage outlet, and don't retreat without pulling out the culprits behind the water quality." "Through comprehensive platooning, squatting, surprise inspections, etc., a number of illegal polluting enterprises have been effectively cracked down on and investigated."

Not long ago, the Kunming Water Environment Monitoring Platform showed that the water quality of the Mantis River had been abnormal in total phosphorus index many times, and it was likely that some enterprises were stealing sewage into the river. In order to find out, Li Xuesong and his colleagues rushed to the vicinity of the water quality anomaly in the early morning to carry out a large inspection of the drainage ditch.

"Our monitoring is 24 hours a day against the drain, and the water coming out of the system will be displayed immediately." "This piece is all dry, and the possibility of illegal sewage discharge in this enterprise can be ruled out." "There are signs of stolen sewage, take more samples at different times, and monitor repeatedly." ...... Li Xuesong and his colleagues persevered all night and finally found that there was indeed an illegal discharge phenomenon of enterprises in the river basin, and then Shunten touched the melon and investigated a number of enterprises according to law.

Recently, Li Xuesong's post has been adjusted, and he has invested more energy in the blue sky defense war. He has led the team to inspect 103 construction projects, more than 40 sand and gravel processing plants, more than 20 concrete mixing stations and other dust-prone enterprises in the region, and has accumulated 432 copies of dust prevention and control tasks for projects with problems, and timely followed up to ensure that rectification is in place.
