Raptors: Siakam is not a non-sale Barnes and Anunoby are not tradeable

According to The Athletic's Raptors correspondent Eric Koreen, Siakam is not a non-sale product, and Barnes and Anunoby are not for sale.

Siakam still looks like one of the most confusing players of the season, and given the way the Raptors are currently being constructed and the team's current health, it's hard to tell the difference between Siakam's performance and the team's struggles.

When the Raptors are at their best, Siakam usually plays an important role. While it's heartening to see him show more improvement on the defensive end. But the Raptors didn't really protect the basket, and the team relied more on two rookies in this regard.

In short, Siakam is good, and in a sense, if the Raptors don't give him a contract, other teams will give it to him, so he's trading.

Siakam's current $30 million annual salary has surpassed his performance on the field, but given that Siakam is seen as an indispensable piece of the puzzle for championship-contending teams, some teams should be aggressive towards him before the trade deadline.
