Match Review

Greenport's two cores continued to truce, but the Rockets unexpectedly got off to a great start. The Raptors started sleepwalking, with consecutive mistakes, the Rockets seized the opportunity to push back, veteran Gordon scored seven straight points to lead the team to a 9-0 start, and then took a step closer to stretch the score to 19-6. Nass saw that the situation was not good and entered the roster rotation early, Boucher came off the bench to bring vitality, and VanVleet threaded the needle, the Raptors gradually stabilized, and the Rockets did not score a single point 4 minutes and 14 seconds before the end of the first quarter, and were chased to 20-21.

As soon as the second quarter came up, Trent and Siakam each scored a goal to quickly regain the score, and the Rockets slowly regained their offensive feeling, but neither experience nor player talent were as good as their opponents, and although the Raptors did not perform very well, the Rockets still could not regain the lead. Trent shot better and better, hitting four three-pointers in a single quarter to score 16 points as the Raptors led 55-48 by seven points into the intermission.

As soon as the second half came up, Siakam and VanVleet combined to run a 14-2 run to stretch the gap to 19 points. But the Rockets also showed a tenacious side, especially veteran Gordon, who seemed worthy of a first-round pick based on today's performance alone, and led by his seven consecutive points, the Rockets played a wave of counterattacks to re-narrow the gap to single digits. After Gordon came off, the Rockets lost focus on offense, trailing by 13 points at 72-85 in the third quarter.

In the final quarter, Barnes made two consecutive three-pointers as soon as he came up, but each time the Rockets responded, Gordon and Christopher performed well. The two sides came and went like this, with a point difference of about 10 points, consuming the game time a little bit, the game theoretically maintained suspense, but there were no waves, and the final score was fixed at 117-111.
