In order to enhance the general employment ability of young people, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security launched the pilot work of "Job Search Ability Training Camp" in Shanghai in 2021, and entrusted Shanghai to develop a set of practical training materials focusing on the improvement of youth employability. The training course extracts and refines the practical experience and model of public employment services in the city, and will test the scientificity, rationality and applicability of the teaching materials in the pilot course process.

The Shanghai Employment Promotion Center selected outstanding chief career instructors and experts from the Shanghai Employment Service Expert Volunteer Group to form a team of pilot course training lecturers in the city, and organized two centralized trainings for pilot lecturers of the job search ability training camp on December 2 and December 7. In order to grasp the key and difficult points of training and ensure the quality of training, more than 20 expert lecturers should first be "students" before formal teaching, and through training, they will thoroughly understand the teaching content and standard requirements, and explore the most appropriate teaching methods from the perspective of students.

The training was led by the textbook writing team of the "Job Search Ability Training Camp", covering: the positioning of the job search ability training camp course, training objectives, textbook application, characteristic teaching modules, and training teaching skills. Different from traditional theoretical teaching and knowledge teaching, youth employability training focuses on experience and interaction, practical training lecturers should stimulate the initiative of young people to participate in the curriculum in situational teaching, drive young people to invest in every classroom interaction and task training, and flexibly use the teaching skills of experiential teaching. In the actual training process, if the lecturer asks questions directly, it may put greater pressure on the young trainees, and it is often difficult for young people with slow and hot personalities to express themselves calmly in a short period of time. At this time, the training instructor cleverly used the six-dimensional drawing self-introduction method to come up with the question, which can not only examine the degree of expectation of the trainees for job search and employment and where the confusion points of job search and employment are, but also reduce the pressure of the trainees to resolve the embarrassment.

Second, make good use of "appreciation" to cultivate young trainees' self-confidence in job hunting.
In the self-portrait and positioning link of practical training, lecturers should make good use of appreciation skills, accept the views and expectations of young students, fully tap the shining points and values of students, and praise and encourage them, so as to cultivate students' self-confidence in job search. Self-confidence is a person's full understanding and evaluation of their own value and ability, and is the internal motivation to motivate individuals to achieve their ideals. Appreciation can lead to the sharing of students' experiences and mobilize the interactive atmosphere in the classroom.

In the training, the course sets up multiple scenarios, and the young students will randomly select the task combination simulation and be commented by the instructor after the completion of the simulation. The key to the review is to think in a different position, stand in the student's point of view, guide and inspire him to find the idea of dealing with the problem in reality through the tasks in the simulated scenario, so as to stimulate the student's workplace awareness and improve the desire for employment.

Based on their many years of experience in youth career guidance, the lecturers figured out the classroom mentality of young students, brought in the perspective of students to experience the design of training courses, combined with the characteristics of youth guidance, put forward professional opinions and suggestions on the content of teaching materials and teaching methods, and also provided an empirical basis for the further optimization of training courses.
