From this direction, the mountain range marked by the computer line is the place where the ancestors of the great volunteer army swore to fight to the death, 70 years ago, in order to capture this position, the US army used countless bomb shells, and even used napalm and incendiary bombs to burn all the vegetation in this area, because the bombing was so tragic that to this day, this area is still grassless!
I took two pictures of the old heroes of the 188th Division of the 63rd Army who participated in this battle, and when they told this history, their eyes made me feel heartache, and I could feel that their eyes seemed to flash with blood and flesh again, and the faces of their sacrificed comrades.
In the history of the 63rd Army, this battle will forever stand in the annals of history, tens of thousands of loyal and brave soldiers, and only more than 3,000 seeds have been left after the war! However, they also let the U.S. military drop thousands of corpses, and these greatest soldiers of our nation, with their blood and lives, told these robbers that from 1840, the era when Chinese was oppressed and humiliated by Westerners was gone!
Before the war, the US army was invincible, only an hour on the morning of June 1, just like the 187th Division of the 63rd Army fired 4,000 tons of artillery shells, on June 8, it actually sent B29 bombers to throw super-large aerial bombs at the volunteer positions, and then all kinds of incendiary bombs, gasoline bombs were thrown down like snowflakes, in the words of the US veterans, we had to use melted hot molten iron to turn the Chinese army into steam!
Unfortunately, this cowhide was blown too big, and the US military encountered the bravest soldier in the history of Chinese thousand years! The end result is just like the picture below! Corpses are strewn across the field!
