At 10:00 a.m. on December 6, in the middle of datangshan Mountain, 750 meters above sea level, in the 750-meter-high Tangshan Natural Village of Qiantang Village, Fangcun Town, Changshan County, green rapeseed seedlings grew in the terraces developed and built by The Lantern Pit Family Farm.

Xu Junjie, a family farmer in Dengzhan Pit and a villager in Qiantang Village, told him that this terraced field is a total of 200 acres, and when the rapeseed flowers bloom next spring, plus there are red army clothing factory sites on the top of the mountain, this will become a "net red punch card" for tourists. After the rapeseed harvest, most of the terraces will be planted with alpine vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, edamame, and seasonal beans, and some terraces will be planted with red sorghum.

Xu Junjie has been going to Hangzhou to start a business since 2004, opening Internet cafes and chartering construction sites, and has been successful in entrepreneurship for 17 years. In April 2020, he returned to his hometown to seek new development opportunities.

Most of the young people in Qiantang Village went out to work and start a business, and most of the people who stayed in the village were old and infirm, and some fields with high mountains and long roads and inconvenient management had thus become wasteland. Xu Junjie found development opportunities from it: Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway has an exit in Xinqiao, Chun (An) Chang (Shan) Highway Lei Gongling Tunnel will be opened to traffic in late December 2020, traffic travel is more convenient, will drive the flow of people, logistics, capital flow, why not lease these fields to develop alpine vegetables?

Xu Junjie's idea has received strong support from the two committees of Qiantang Village, and the land circulation work has been officially launched since May this year. Qiantang Village Joint Stock Economic Cooperative transferred a total of 280 fields and 560 mu of mountain forest from 57 farmers, and the overall leasing to the Dengzhankeng Family Farm operated in the mode of "village collective + enterprise + farmer", with a lease period of 30 years, the Dengdengkeng Family Farm paid farmers an annual rent of 200 yuan per mu, in addition to absorbing some farmers to engage in production management; the income from moso bamboo, pine trees and oil tea trees in the 560 mu of mountain forest belonged to the farmers, and the under-forest land was used for the farm to develop the under-forest economy and red leisure tourism.

"Don't worry about the sales of alpine vegetables in Qiantang Village." Xu Libin, secretary of the party branch of Qiantang Village, told reporters that just last month, the Changshan County Supply and Marketing Association and the County Agricultural Cooperative Association guided dealers to support the development of alpine vegetables in remote mountainous areas of the county, and purchased alpine vegetables produced in six villages of Xinqiao, namely Qianjiang, Xinqiao, Dongyuan, Hengshan Road, Donggang, and Qiantang. The acquisition time is concentrated every Tuesday and Friday morning, and each village sets up a centralized purchase point, and the purchase price is the wholesale price of the daily agricultural product wholesale market. On the 25th of last month, the county supply and marketing association and the county agricultural cooperative organization dealers went to Qiantang Village to buy. On the same day, 23 farmers in the village sent their own winter melons, pumpkins, radishes, cabbage, etc. to the centralized purchase point, purchasing a total of 1428 kilograms of vegetables and distributing 2165 yuan.

"With the 'dragon head' set up on the Family Farm in Lantern Pit, we are full of confidence in the large-scale cultivation of alpine vegetables in Qiantang Village." Xu Libin introduced that since last month, cadres, party members and villagers' representatives of the two village committees have gone deep into the homes of farmers to publicize and launch to guide more farmers to plant alpine vegetables. At present, about 400 acres of alpine vegetables are planted in the village.
