From Dou Xian who "opened his mouth and knelt" to the bald uncle who "resolutely did not open his mouth", what did Dou Wei experience?
In 1969, Dou Wei was born in a Beijing hutong, grew up in an alley, and the atmosphere of literary and artistic youth permeated his small bones.
His father used to be engaged in folk music, so it was his father who "led Dou Wei into the door and brought him to the Tao" and taught him knowledge by hand.
"The rhythm, the strength and weakness, the southern and northern schools, all told me through folk music, and I also understood that I learned eight or nine without leaving ten." Years later, Dou Wei recalled that time like this.
At the age of 6, Dou Wei took to the stage of the kindergarten to perform the flute. Dou Wei touched these things naturally, very naturally, as if they were born for music.
But soon, Dou Wei's life changed.
After attending middle school, his parents divorced because of their personality incompatibility, and he and his sister were sentenced to their mother.
The originally cheerful and lively Dou only became panicked, he always felt that something was going to happen, and the divorce of his parents did have some impact on him.
It was also this year that Dou Wei heard rock and roll for the first time, and after hearing it, his blood boiled, as if he had found spiritual sustenance, so he wanted to learn music in his heart.
Unfortunately, his mother did not have the ability to provide him with music at that time.
In 1985, in order to reduce the burden, the 16-year-old Dou Wei chose to go to vocational high school to study psychiatric nursing.
As the saying goes, "Success depends on one percent of the effort and ninety-nine percent of the luck", Dou Wei is the master of heaven's reward and food.
At high school, he had more time to engage in music, teaching himself guitar and drum kits and other instruments.
Two years later, at the age of 18, Dou Wei was admitted to the Beijing Light Music Troupe and began to make a little money by walking around the cave, when he mainly sang Jiang Dawei's songs, of course, Cui Jian's songs, and also learned to break dance.
After a performance, Dou Wei can earn about 30 yuan, and after a period of time, Dou Wei has become a well-known "rich man", envious of a group of classmates!
Later, Cui Jian and the "pie band" came to Beijing Institute of Chemical Technology to perform, Dou Wei was the audience under the stage, did not expect Cui Jian to point him to let him improve on the stage, this time, Dou Wei's high-pitched voice penetrated the hearts of the audience present, and his enchanting typhoon also shocked everyone.
Soon after, Dou Wei ushered in the most glorious time of his life!
In 1987, Guo Chuanlin and Ding Wu, Li Tong, Wang Wenjie, Cheng Wei, Wang Wenfang and others formed the Black Panther Band, with Ding Wu as the lead singer, but it was not long before Ding Wu chose to quit.
The Black Panther band was "leaderless" for a while, and before it could wait for glory, it faced the problem of disbanding.
In order to find a new lead singer, Guo Chuanlin ran all over the major home bars in Beijing, but still found nothing.
Just when he was anxious, the audience who had seen Dou Wei's performance recommended this person to him.
However, at that time, communication was not developed enough, and Guo Chuanlin asked friends to inquire about Dou Wei's news, and also went to Dou Wei's house with Li Tong and Wang Wenjie to block him.
Finally, in Shijingshan' Beijing Youth Theater Troupe, he saw Dou Wei's performance, and when Dou's only song was sung, the three of them explained their intentions to him, and the four of them combined, and Dou Wei was very happy to join the Black Panther Band.
In early 1991, the Black Panthers participated in the "Shenzhen Spring Modern Music" concert, which made them famous in one fell swoop, and they were signed by the famous Hong Kong music producer Chen Jiantian!
Chen Jiantian once dug into beyond and Tianhou Faye Wong, and in this way, the Black Panther Band became their fellow disciples.
This also laid the groundwork for Dou Wei's later withdrawal.
With a new owner, the Band Panther soon began to prepare for the first album "Black Panther", a song "Landless Self-Contained" turned out, Dou Wei conquered everyone, and his untamed style directly injected a free soul into the song.
No one would have thought that the song's song was completed in 20 minutes by Li Tong, who thought that if the singer filled in the words himself, the biting words and rhyme would be more comfortable, so Li Tong handed it over to Dou Wei.
Dou Wei naturally wrote out the words, and the whole process was unusually smooth.
When Black Panther entered the shed to record other songs, the lyrics of several songs such as "Afraid of Your Own Tears" and "Close to Me" were not yet available, or Dou Wei himself was temporarily driven out of the shed, so Dou Wei's strength was unfathomable, far more than the one-sided you and I saw.
In the second half of 1991, under the leadership of Dou Wei, Black Panther snatched out a piece of his own world from the Tai Chi Band and Beyond, and the announcements of the performance of these hairy boys were full of queues in Hong Kong, and as soon as they went on the street, several people would be chased to sign.
When the mainland version of "Black Panther" was launched, it was out of control, and in the second year of its release, it won the Platinum Record Award, first 500,000 copies, and then outstripped supply, and added 1.5 million copies.
And this is still a genuine album, plus pirated copies, China's cross-strait and three places, the streets are playing Black Panther songs, roughly estimated to have sold more than 20 million copies.
In the 1990s, the Black Panther band almost became a national rock idol, and the value of the Black Panther rose several times and several times, but Dou Wei did not catch up with this good time.
When the Band Panther became popular overnight, cracks began to appear inside, and in late 1991, Dou Wei suddenly announced his withdrawal from "Black Panther"!

Some people said that it was because Dou Wei and the other members of the band had different musical ideas, so they left.
But some people also believe that Dou Wei did not continue to shine for the sake of love, and this woman is - Tianhou Faye.
Most of the outside world chose to believe the second reason, because many years later, Zhao Mingyi participated in the "Lu Yu You Covenant" and mentioned the reason for Dou Wei's departure.

In 1994, at the "Rock Chinese Music Strength" concert held at the Hung Hom Sports Centre in Hong Kong, Dou Wei had short hair and black clothes, a calm face, and a youthful glow.
At the beginning, he sang "Higher Animals", and the whole time he fell into an almost unbelievable state.
The tens of thousands of spectators at the Hung Hom Stadium stood up, waving their hands and shouting hoarseness in their throats. There is hardly a concert in Hong Kong that goes as crazy as that night.
