Mr. Shan Tian Fang died of illness at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital at the age of 84. Shan Tianfang (December 17, 1934 – September 11, 2018, 15:30), born in Yingkou, Liaoning Province, was a Chinese storyteller, writer and music artist. In 1954, he entered the stage of book review.
On May 1, 1979, Shan Tianfang returned to the book world. In 1995, Shan Tianfang established Beijing Shan Tianfang Cultural Communication Co., Ltd. On January 26, 2007, Shan Tianfang announced that he would close the mountain, and "The Old Shop Storm" was his collection of mountains. In 2011, he published his autobiography "Returning to the Truth: Shan Tianfang Says Shan Tianfang". In 2012, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 7th China Quyi Peony Awards Ceremony. Representative works include "Three Heroes and Five Righteousness", "White Brow Hero", "Three Heroes Sword", "Tong Lin Biography", "Sui and Tang Dynasty Yanyi", "Chaotic World Gangster", "Water Margin" and other commentaries.
Biography: Mr. Shan Tianfang was born in Tianjin on December 17, 1934, graduated from Shenyang No. 27 Middle School in 1953, and was supposed to continue his studies at Northeast Institute of Technology, but failed to complete his studies due to family changes. Then, Mr. Shan Tianfang took the commentator Li Qinghai as his teacher and embarked on the road of storytelling. During this period, he studied in the History Department (correspondence course) of Liaoning University, and was one of the rare "talent-level" book commentators in that year.
In 1955, he joined the Anshan Qu art troupe and made a name for himself here. During the Cultural Revolution, mr. Li suffered persecution, but he still did not forget the book critic business, and after the reform and opening up, his art was revived. In 1995, Mr. Shan Tianfang established Beijing Shan Tianfang Art Communication Co., Ltd., which pioneered the art of storytelling in the market.
In 2000, Mr. Shan Tianfang suffered from stomach cancer, and after receiving surgical treatment, Mr. Shan still did not give up his beloved book-reading career, and resolutely continued to create and record more than 20 subsequent TELEVISION and radio commentaries, most of which were new-style commentaries that had been re-created and modified, such as "The Legend of He Long" and "Blood Colored Agent" and other red classic series of commentaries. In 2004, Mr. Shan Tianfang was appointed as the honorary chairman of the Beijing Qu Artists Association, in 2010 he was named the representative heir of the national intangible cultural heritage, and in 2012, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award of the China Quyi Peony Award. Mr. Shan Tianfang is eclectic, has the courage to innovate, and explores the theme of book review that no one dared to set foot in, forming a unique "single style". Over the past 60 years, Mr. Shan Tianfang has recorded a total of 110 radio and television commentaries, a total of more than 12,000 episodes, the program time is about 6,000 hours, the performance content is all-encompassing, spanning ancient and modern, there are popular traditional commentaries "Sui and Tang Dynasty Yanyi", "Daming Heroic Lie", "Three Heroes and Five Righteousness", "White Brow Hero" and so on. The commentaries recorded by Mr. Shan Tianfang are of high artistic level, wide range of subjects, and many of them, and are deeply loved by the vast audience. His works of commentary have a certain influence not only in China, but also among overseas Chinese, and are even described by fans as "where there is well water, they listen to Shan Tianfang". A generation of book review masters have gone, leaving countless book review classics, but there is no next decomposition!
