According to statistics, since the beginning of this year, xiamen has registered more than 880,000 volunteers; a total of 5,669 volunteer service groups in the city have carried out a total of 91,000 volunteer service projects; 117 public place volunteer service stations, 264 community volunteer service stations, 96 love volunteer service stations, and 579 new era civilization practice centers (institutes and stations) have carried out normal services all year round. Every Wednesday to Friday evening, in the Pioneer Voice Radio Station of the Shangmei Huacheng Community in The Xichi Community of Tong'an District, there is a group of caring volunteers telling the story of civilization around them through small loudspeakers.
Telling the story of civilization at this radio station is one of the many volunteer services in the Xichi community, and it is also a vivid epitome of solidly promoting the pilot construction of the civilization practice center in the new era and opening up the "last kilometer" of ideological and theoretical dissemination, taking community volunteer service as the starting point to warm up neighborhood relations.
Out of the community, the atmosphere of volunteerism is even stronger. The "Telling Ancient Immortals" volunteer service team used oral history to focus on Tong'an history, folklore, dialects, and allusions in the Sungai Ancient Field, and told Tong'an stories well; literary and artistic light cavalry volunteers organized music, dance, and other detachments to perform in an irregular street "flash mob" manner, and poetry, Nanyin, and other small detachments relied on the New Era Civilization Practice Center to carry out regular public welfare teaching, reading clubs, and other activities.

Randa Xiong agreed and helped gather other colleagues. At this time, it was only more than 3 hours before he returned from the community volunteer service site. But at 7:30 in the morning, he still arrived at the nucleic acid testing point of the second phase of the software park on time and put into work.
This is not an isolated case. On the afternoon of July 30, Zhao Weihua, a party member volunteer in the Yuhou community, saw the news of the community recruiting volunteers from the nucleic acid testing point on the "Party Building e-Home" and signed up. When he got home from work, he changed his clothes and rushed to the nucleic acid testing point in the big banyan tree square in the north of the island. From 7 o'clock that night to two o'clock in the morning the next day, Zhao Weihua only sat and rested for more than 10 minutes. "As a party member, you should be on the front line at such a moment!" Zhao Weihua said, "Even if I don't see the notice, I will go to the scene after work to see if there is anything that needs help." ”
At the same time, Pan Shuna, assistant to the official community foreign director, was also busy gathering volunteers for nucleic acid testing. "I set up a volunteer service group today, with about 40 Chinese and foreign volunteers participating. Tomorrow we have another nucleic acid test, and we are always ready. "Pan Shuna is a Czech, graduated from Xiamen University majoring in translation, can speak fluent Chinese, she has been in Xiamen for 6 years. At 2 p.m. on July 30, Pan Shuna participated in the preparation of nucleic acid testing for all employees in the community. This time, she insisted on serving until 3 a.m. on July 31. At 6:00 a.m. on the 31st, she reported to the community again and threw herself into a new day of epidemic work, and did not finish work until 7 p.m. that night.
At every key node and special moment, there are volunteers busy. The epidemic situation is sudden, and the red vest is coming. In the nucleic acid testing points, vaccination points, isolation communities, business circles... Xiamen volunteers are everywhere: party member volunteers take the initiative to sign up and go deep into the frontline of epidemic prevention; residents in the sealing and control areas spontaneously form volunteer service teams to serve the residents; community volunteers open 24-hour rotation, temperature measurement, code verification, registration, and jointly build an "epidemic-free community"...
