Huinan (1002~1069) Was a Shangrao of Jiangxi, a high monk of Zen Buddhism in the Song Dynasty, and the ancestor of the Huanglong Sect of Linji Sect, known as Huanglong Huinan. Huinan Zen master in Jiangxi Huanglong Mountain to spread the Zen Dharma, the Fa Xi is at its peak, directly after Matsu, Baizhang Huaihai two ancestors, often with "Buddha's hands, donkeys and feet born" three words to investigate scholars, more than thirty years, few people deeply understand its purpose, the world known as "Huanglong Three Passes".

Huinan Zen master learned Confucianism, Bo Tong Jingshi, was ordained from the Zhiluan Zen master at the age of 11, and after receiving full ordination at the age of 19, he could get their respect and praise from all the noble houses of Xiancheng, Yunfeng Wenyue, and Shi Shuang Chuyuan. Later, the Zen master opened a lecture at Tong'an Temple, and the four people returned. Soon after, he went to Guizong Temple, because the hall suddenly encountered a fire, and the whole temple was burned down, so he was unjustly imprisoned. It took a long time before he was pardoned, retired to Huang barberry, built a cui nunnery, and the four sides followed, and later the Zen master was invited to the Huanglong Mountain Chong'en Temple, and the Great Zhen Sect wind spread throughout Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian and Guangdong, and became a family of its own, thus becoming the Huanglong Sect.

There will be clouds to collect the sun, and only then will they know that this way is long and horizontal. He also said, "Stretch out the donkey's feet at the break of birth, and when the donkey's feet are extended, the Buddha's hand opens." In order to report to the Five Lakes scholars, three passes and one through the future. ”

Master Huinan spread the Zen Dharma in Huanglong Mountain, and the Dharma seat was at its peak, directly following the two ancestors of Matsu Daoyi and Baizhang Huaihai. Emperor Shenzong of Song died on the seventeenth day of the second year, with a life expectancy of sixty-eight, known as Huanglong Huinan, and Emperor Huizong posthumously honored him as "Zen Master Pujue" for four years. Huinan Zen Master has one volume each such as "Huanglong Huinan Zen Master's Sayings" and "Book Ruler Collection", and there are many disciples under his disciples, among which Obscure Ancestral Heart, Baofeng Kewen, and Pantan Hongying are well-known in Zen Forest.
